Mondays Are for Murder - S2-E13
Plot hole: In an effort to keep Glenn's death as quiet as possible, Higgins hires a private pathologist to do an autopsy to see if there were any foreign substances or poisons in his system when he died. A few scenes later it is revealed that Glen was undergoing chemotherapy. How is it possible that the pathologist missed the cancer and the chemo treatment in his investigation? What he found was an excess of antacids.
No Way Out - S3-E3
Other mistake: Higgins is asked if she can hack a security feed from an office. She replies that she can do it, but it will only be audio, no video. When she hacks it, is only video, no audio. (00:14:10 - 00:15:35)
The Day Danger Walked In - S3-E5
Factual error: Higgins, Thomas, TC and Rick are locked in a freezer. Their barber friend is tapping his horn in "a pattern" Higgins says is Morse code, and announces that he tapped "move back." Not really. I know Morse Code. All I got (along with a few undecipherable things) was TOERT NMU ETM CEA OFJ DER WK. No way that spells "Move Back."
The Day Danger Walked In - S3-E5
Other mistake: In the middle of the storm, telephone service goes out. Yet later, one of the robbers sees an emergency alert on his phone and says it is getting worse. If cell service is out, there is no way he could have received that.
Other mistake: A man kidnaps an IT tech and steals his uniform. The IT guy is quite large - at least a XXXL if not more. When the impostor IT guy walks into HPD Headquarters, he has a very well fitting IT uniform shirt. And he is of average build -maybe a medium size. There is no way he could be wearing the real IT guy's shirt without it looking like a tent.
Factual error: The lady who was killed had been using a shredder "for over ten minutes straight" the night she was killed, according to the handyman. Nothing was apparently missing, though. The next day it turned out that what she received was an employment contract. No matter how many pages the contract was, it does not take ten minutes to shred.
Factual error: Higgins finds a bloodstained bag in the dumpster. The stain is bright red. The blood belongs to a person who was killed late the previous night, around midnight. After being in the hot sun for many hours the blood would have oxidized and be closer to a brown color, not bright red.
Dead Ringer - S5-E6
Continuity mistake: Magnum goes to Jack Hill's house to investigate a murder. The home has a smart lock, so he breaks in through a window. Later, Det. Chris Childs goes to the same house. This time the front is different and there is a keyhole and a pushbutton for the doorbell.
Dark Skies - S5-E8
Character mistake: Higgins and TC are investigating a drug smuggler camp in Maui. TC sees a box of cigarettes and says the people in the camp must be Latino because the cigarette box is in Spanish. Wrong. The box says Cigarillos, which are small, short cigars. If the box was in Spanish it would say Cigarrillos, which is cigarettes in Spanish.
