Continuity mistake: During the yoga training, Amanda falls forward during a toestand. Higgins in the wider shot is touching her back, while her hand was lower in the first shot; also she falls with her hand within the platform, but as Apollo hops over to lick her face, her arm is off the platform. (00:11:00)
Continuity mistake: After Amanda Sako botches a pose and talks with Higgins, she asks her "What makes you such an expert" while Perdita Weeks is leaning forward, taking the arm away from the knee to move the hand over the other leg on mat. At the response about age, she is in the same pose she began the previous shot in, with the arm over her raised knee. (00:11:35)
Continuity mistake: Amy Hill holds the book with the picture of the uhiuhi plant with her hand on top of the junction between pages in close-up. Nowhere near there in the previous and following shot. (00:14:50)
Continuity mistake: TC rings Magnum with a lead about the quad bikes rented out. Magnum instantly leaves to pursue that - however, in the first shot of him riding into the sunset with the Ferrari he is wearing a different (light blue) shirt and is alone in the car, while he arrives to his destination wearing the navy henley he had on all along, and with Higgins at his side. Continuity mistake: Magnum and Higgins are checking out of the fourth address TC gave them; they walk around a palm tree in the first shot, and the street and asphalt are in the shadows. Reverse shot when they talk about 'mansplaining' and that part of the road is all nice and sunny. (00:24:30)
Continuity mistake: When Amanda identifies the perp in the picture Sakamoto brings, Higgins holds her shoulders in a different way in each shot. (00:26:50)
Continuity mistake: When Magnum chokes out of the security guard, he slumps down off the chair, but Magnum is still lowering him from the seat in the next shot. (00:33:10)
Continuity mistake: Higgins sees from the live security cameras that Alan Sako arrived on the 22nd floor, elevator doors -just - starting to close. Then some humorous bickering ensues between Magnum and her; you'd think the two would have better things to do in a highly time sensitive life-or-death situation than go for gags for the audience, but no worries; when she looks back at the monitor 15 seconds later, Sako is still there with the elevator doors that are still closing behind him. (00:33:25)
Continuity mistake: In the flashback, Toni tells Rick that Lyons rebought for 30k and didn't blink. Her hand is on her hip, elbow at right angle. Reverse shot, and her arm is down her side. (00:03:25)
Continuity mistake: During the conversation with Icepick, his hand has perfect consistency as far as the pose goes, with one finger stretched along the receiver. What changes is the position of the hand, though; you can tell that between shots the tip of his forefinger is lower or higher up on the intercom phone, sometimes so high to be off the top of it. (00:07:00)
Continuity mistake: Rick gets to Robin's Nest after the unsuccessful chat with Icepick. TC and Magnu mare browsing "FlicPhoto." Magnum pushes a button, one photo loads, but in close-up it's a different one. (00:09:15)
Continuity mistake: Higgins and Thomas are walking in the hotel arm in arm. In the establishing shot there are two women talking almost in front of the sliding doors, but one is gone at the cut. Similarly, the distances between the other people in the hall are not consistent. (00:10:45)
Continuity mistake: Arrived at the hotel posing as Higgins' hubby, Magnum leans against the concierge desk...or not, depending whether the camera is behind him or not. (00:10:50)
Continuity mistake: Magnum walks back towards Charlie after talking to Detective Gordon Katsumoto. TC by him is in a different spot between shots, one step or two steps close to him, which means being in the sun or not depending on the shot. (00:25:10)
Continuity mistake: Magnum and TC pull over and shout at the man who just came out of the safety box deposit with a briefcase. Behind Magnum when he shouts "Russell!" you can see a woman with a baby stroller, wearing a teal top. She is getting inside a building. In Russell Chang's view, that woman is still far behind and has yet to reach the building. (00:29:10)
Continuity mistake: At the end of the episode, Rick ask to say a few words. In the wide shot ("Thank you"), Higgins is leaning her head on the left arm, elbow on the table. Closer view, and she is chilling all the way back on the chair. (00:36:55)
Continuity mistake: Toni thanks Rick at the end of the episode with the gift of a plant. When they are still by the gazebo, the flower is pointing different directions between shots. The plant also looks bent at a rather sharp angle in the shot when she says "I can't stay", but it's straight and fine in the rest of the scene. (00:37:30)
Character mistake: Magnum and Higgins never retrieve the large and conspicuous device they used to hack the 'top level firewall' of the hotel database - and they even put it in a frontal USB port.
Revealing mistake: Magnum runs at the beginning of the episode on the beach. In the shots from distance the beach is immaculate and even, while in the closer angles, you can pick up in the sand in the background the tracks left by the camera following the actors. (00:00:35)
