Frodo: I wish the ring never came to me.
Gandalf: So do all who have carried its burden, but that is not for us to decide. All there is to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you.
Bilbo: Tell me again... Where are we going?
Frodo: To the harbor, Bilbo. The elves have accorded you a high honor; a place on the last ship to leave Middle Earth.
Bilbo: Any chance of me seeing that old ring again? Hmm? The one I gave you?
Frodo: I'm sorry, uncle... I'm afraid I lost it.
Bilbo: Oh... Pity. I should have liked to have held it one last time.
Sam: It's like in the great stories Mr. Frodo, the ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were, and sometimes you didn't want to know the end because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end it's only a passing thing this shadow, even darkness must pass. A new day will come, and when the sun shines it'll shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you, that meant something even if you were too small to understand why. But I think Mr. Frodo, I do understand, I know now folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn't. They kept going because they were holding on to something.
Frodo: What are we holding onto, Sam?
Sam: That there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fighting for.
North: How does that get me into a good college?
Governor Ho: Well, since we don't use the letters B, C, D and F, you're pretty much guaranteed to get straight A's.
North: What are you? Some kind of guardian angel?
Narrator: Well, I guess you can say that, because in a manner of speaking we at Federal Express feel that we are guardians. Guardians of your most important packages and priority communique.
Arthur Seldom: Miss Scarlet is now an electron, okay? And you're looking at her through a keyhole or a particle accelerator - as you wish - and every time you look at her, Miss Scarlet will have changed her appearance or her position because the very fact that you observe her alters her atomic state. How about that?
Martin: Don't try to confuse me with tricks.
Billie Pike: How old are you?
Willard Young: Ten. How old are you?
Billie Pike: Nine. I thought you'd be bigger.
Willard Young: Hey! Look who's talking, you midget. It just so happens I'm exactly the right size for my age. So why don't you just get lost?
Billie Pike: You don't have to go crazy. It was just an observation.
Willard Young: I'm always afraid of things. I don't know why, but I am. And I just thought if I did something that really scared me, maybe I wouldn't be afraid anymore.
Lily Reed: Did it work?
Willard Young: Yeah... it did.
Billie Pike: Don't go in the water. It's gonna rain.
Willard Young: So what?
Billie Pike: If lightning strikes, we'll be fried like two bugs on a hot plate. That's what.
Billie Pike: Do you have a lot of friends?
Willard Young: Yeah. I'm the most popular kid on my block.
Billie Pike: I figured. I don't have a lot of friends. People think I'm a show-off.
Older Mike: History is all in the mind of the teller. Truth is all in the telling.
Ryan Newman: Behold... The instrument of Drew's destruction. Bzzmm... My ping pong paddle from when I was all state table tennis champion.
Wilfred: So, chemistry, biking and ping pong. I guess my only question is, why were you not blowjobbed to death by the entire cheerleading squad?
