Black Summer (2019)
Revealing mistake: Multiple times when we see the speedometer of the minivan, the RPMs aren't moving. The car's shifter is also noticeably in park. This is obvious as its higher, whereas if were in drive, it would be lower. Even during the most intense moments, the RPMs never change. The car is obviously being towed by a camera vehicle.

Beethoven (1992)
Revealing mistake: The scene with Beethoven in bed with George features a person in a dog suit. It's most obvious when the dog turns around in the sheets and has its mouth wide open. It's obviously not a real dog until the closer shots.

E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982)
Revealing mistake: During the scene in the woods with the communication machine, Elliot tells E.T. that they need to go. You see the machine still working at a regular interval because a rope is pulling it. The shot pans to the left a touch and the rope stops moving, as if the person pulling it realises it's no longer in the shot.

The Mask (1994)
Revealing mistake: They put the explosive down near the end and open it with a crowbar. As this is happening, the shot pushes in a tad. Notice a rough cut here as if the box wouldn't open as intended, so the editors spliced the scene together.

The Simpsons (1989)
Revealing mistake: During the intro to some earlier episodes where Bart leaves the school, the scene pans down and the edge of the animation paper can be seen in a couple spots at the very bottom of the frame. It is blue in color. This error persisted through many seasons.

Game Night (2018)
Revealing mistake: During the scenes with the cast on the bridge, there are clear traffic directing cones and lights visible in the distance, depending on the angle. This was done to prevent people and traffic from getting onto the closed set.
Suggested correction: Incorrect. They make a point of showing that there are "Bridge Closed" and construction signs on the bridge, and you can even see some construction equipment on the bridge itself. The cones and lights are not there to prevent people from getting onto set... they're part of the set dressing, since the bridge is meant to be closed down for construction in the scene. That's why they chose the bridge as a meetup point... there will be nobody to interfere.

Knives Out (2019)
Revealing mistake: The detectives start interviewing Linda and tell her they will be recording it. The detective pulls out a phone, and we see it recording. He starts talking and the waveform is moving but doesn't match when he speaks. If it were accurate we would see a peak when he talks.
