The Contractor (2022)

Factual error: North Carolina prohibits the tattooing of minors (under 18-years-old) and is not a state that allows minors to be tattooed even with prior consent from a parent or guardian. The Fort Bragg army man gave his son (clearly a minor, about 10-years-old) birthday money to pay for the tattoo and his permission to get a tattoo. (00:14:23)

Don't Breathe 2 (2021)

Factual error: When pit bull Shadow was chasing Phoenix, the distances between them varied - even appearing to increase - but the pit bull should have been able to quickly close the gap and catch Phoenix. In general, an adult person (about 7 mph) cannot outrun a pit bull (25-30 mph). Also, unless Shadow was trained to stop pursuing Phoenix if she got over the fence, pit bulls are actually quite good at climbing fences. (00:02:38)

Memory (2022)

Factual error: FBI agent Vincent brought Alex's Alzheimer's prescription to him in the hospital and Alex immediately took at least one. Only the attending doctor, nurse, or other authorized hospital staff member should dispense a drug (prescription or over-the-counter) to a hospital patient. (01:27:40)

Suggested correction: First off, this isn't a factual error, at best it's an other or character mistake. But hospitals have to constantly remind patients (and visitors) not to bring or take their prescription medication and instead let the doctors and nurses know what they take (or turn over their prescriptions) so the hospital can administer them. But people in real life still take their prescription medication on their own without letting the hospital administer it.

Astronaut (2019)

Factual error: Fire extinguishers should be prominently displayed with no obstructions around them. The fire extinguisher was attached to a wall between the door and window, but it was partially obstructed or concealed by (artificial?) tree leaves. It also looked like the tree and plants might have been on a table that sets below the fire extinguisher, which could block the approach (wasting valuable seconds). (00:39:25)

The Cursed (2021)

Factual error: A body-sized floor-length mirror angled away from a wall would not be able to capture a mirror image of that wall or objects on or close to the wall (e.g, drapes, clock, table, etc). (00:06:16)

Pursuit (2022)

Factual error: When they were driving away from the bar, neither Zoe (driver) nor Breslin fastened their seatbelts. Seatbelts are mandatory in New York for the driver and passenger (s) and failure to "buckle up" is classified as a primary offense, meaning no other violation must be observed before police can stop and cite violators. The Rookies (2019)

Factual error: There are roars of thunder without any visible lightning. Next, two bolts of lightning occur at the same time as the thunder booms (but the thunder continues after the lightning strikes). People see lightning before hearing thunder. (Although the two do happen at approximately the same time, light travels faster than sound which is why people see lightning first). (00:12:45)

Michael (1996)

Factual error: After the fight in "Joe's", Michael, Frank, Huey, and Dorothy were arrested on multiple charges and confined in the same jail cell plus the dog was also allowed to stay with them. The police officer shut off the lights and left the arrestees alone overnight in the cell; a jail would have officers/staff present at all times. (00:50:19)

The Hunt (2020)

Factual error: It would have been impossible for the woman to have fallen into the hole on her own and get impaled by the stakes like she did. In order for the woman to land face-up on her back and get impaled by stakes straight up (perpendicular to the ground), she would need to be dropped from above the hole. Even then, the chances of getting impaled like she did would be around zero because her upper body, weighing more than her lower body, would fall faster and hit first at an angle. (00:14:33)

The Lodge (2019)

Factual error: Laura, Aiden, and Mia often complained about how cold it was in the cabin. Mia kept her jar with the Sea-Monkey on her bedroom window sill - right next to the frosted/iced-over windows. The Sea-Monkey's habitat should not be exposed to direct sunlight and, more importantly, the Sea-Monkey needs to be kept in room temperature water or between 70-76° F (higher for hatching). Mia's Sea-Monkey could not survive under the conditions she kept it in at the cabin. (01:22:37)

Survive the Night (2020)

Factual error: Rich told Jamie, "There was a car accident. Guy came in. I cut when I should've stitched or stitched when I should've cut. I don't even know. His family sued in civil court, and I lost everything." A doctor working at a hospital would have been required to carry malpractice insurance, which would have protected him from "losing everything." Also, it would be difficult to prove that a car accident victim who died during surgery was a victim of malpractice; most cases are settled out of court. (00:38:30)

Breakthrough (2019)

Factual error: Three details were omitted on the Miller's car's license plate: the month was missing in the upper left-hand corner; a "15" (2015) sticker was missing in the center of the plate; and, "Show Me State" was not written at the top below "Missouri." (00:16:46)

Factual error: Edgar's license plate is "FROG BROS", but California only permitted up to seven digits at that time. It wasn't until 2014 when eight or nine digits were permitted, but even then only in "very rare cases." (00:27:40)

Girl, Interrupted (1999)

Factual error: Susanna dialed "O" and said, "Yes. I need an ambulance." A few seconds later, she said, "Daisy Randone. I think she killed herself" and then gave her address "23 Vicar Street." In that time period (1967-68), the Operator typically would have first asked what city and then connected the caller to the appropriate ambulance company OR the caller had to directly dial an ambulance. The city, phone number, and directions to the caller's house would have been requested. (01:33:10)

Stockholm (2018)

Factual error: "Polis" is written on two police vans outside the Stockholm bank Taj (Ethan Hawke) is robbing, but police in Sweden are "polismyndigheten" or commonly known as "polisen" (the police). The word "polis" actually means "city." Also, police in Sweden have traditionally used Volvo cars or wagons, not mini vans. (00:13:03)

Suggested correction: Actually all police cars in Sweden have the word "POLIS" on them.

Suggested correction: This is a picture from the event in the movie. Not just Volvos.

Factual error: Rock Doves - even those used to people walking around in the city and on the sidewalks - would have flown away at the first sign of a predator, including a puppy - but they more or less ignored Clifford running toward them. (00:10:30)

The Bouncer (2018)

Factual error: When Lukas takes Sarah to school (on Friday or only a couple days after taping his laceration), the laceration is much smaller (practically healed) and there are only three strips of tape. A laceration as wide as the one Lukas had would not heal within a couple, few, or even several days. Also, the way Lucas taped his laceration would not yield the same/similar results as sutures (even closure and faster healing with little scar). (00:15:43 - 00:16:31)

Assailant (2022)

Factual error: Henry appeared to punch Jason higher on his left side and more toward the back than where the bruise was later shown to be (closer to his waist). More significantly, the bruise quickly changed colors from red/blue-purple to the entire large area being bluish-purple and deep purple. However, bruises typically take at least one or two days to change to deep purple. (00:45:55 - 00:49:19)

Zeros and Ones (2021)

Factual error: The aerial view close-up of the large dome at the Vatican seems to lack features and isn't an exact replica based on on-line photos of the actual building/structure. The two smaller domes on the sides also are not visible due to darkening of the background. Other structures in front should be visible at that angle but are not. (00:15:26)
