Continuity mistake: Castor Troy puts three bullet holes in the windscreen of the helicopter Sean Archer is in at the start of the movie. When Archer moves toward the hangar to shoot Castor, you can see in the background that there are now no holes.

Continuity mistake: When Royce kills the Predator at the end, he slices the head off, and it falls backwards, and the body falls forwards. One of the next shots now shows the head to now be in front of the Predator body.

Revealing mistake: When the elephants are making fun of Dumbo in the train caboose, Dumbo's mother pulls a pin which causes the stall door above the other elephants to fall. When the door bounces back up, you can see that the animators forgot to draw the elephants' heads and trunks and only their bodies are visible.

Other mistake: Throughout the movie, the subtitles for Bruno and Lutz translate everything from German to English. When Lutz carries Bruno on his back from the restaurant, he says "Herr Bruno", and the subtitle should say "Mr.Bruno" but says "Herr Bruno" still.

Plot hole: Jimmy's girlfriend manages to find where Jimmy and Fletch have gone to, even though during the phone conversation Jimmy had with her, he never discussed where they were going.

Continuity mistake: When The Losers are escaping in the School bus, as it crests the hill and comes down the slope to escape the firestorm, the camera shot from the front shows the bus dropping nose first, but the next camera shot from the side now shows it dropping back end first.

Other mistake: During the heist of the armoured car, The Losers detonate the explosive device on one of the black SUV's and it then blows up and rises up vertically. The problem with this is the explosive device was attached to the side of the SUV, and it really should have blown it sideways and up, not just vertical.

Continuity mistake: When Nancy is in the drugstore and she keeps slipping in and out of sleep, Freddy is walking toward the camera running a finger blade on a pipe, and you can see there is a raised pipe joint just before the camera cuts to a rear view of Freddy, and the pipe joint that his finger blade was going to scrape has now gone. Factual error: The amount of money that leaves the cargo container when Riggs and Murtaugh use the car as a battering ram is nowhere near what was inside considering there were at least 4 or so pallets in front of the car. The car didn't have anywhere near the momentum to drive 'through' the pallets and leave them inside.

Plot hole: When Clyde leaves the building that he has planted the bomb to kill the Mayor and the rest of her party, he goes to his van, watches a TV feed of the meeting, then puts the van into gear and moves off. Only problem is, he didn't actually switch on the ignition, and no, Clyde didn't leave the van left switched on either, he's meticulously planned the whole operation, and isn't likely to chance his one means of escape by allowing it to be so easily stolen, and any suggestion that he'd be able to leave the van running with 'conspicuous police security' is a nonsense, as that would draw more attention to the van, something Clyde SPECIFICALLY would not want.

Other mistake: The Verbal Morality Code seems to be applied in an almost haphazard fashion. Several times throughout the movie, both Spartan and Phoenix swear, and do so near an area where they should be vocally reminded of breaking the code, in fact have been previously reminded, and in spite of them not moving from that location are not warned again in the face of repeated swearing.
