Corrected entry: When Monk is leaving Derek Philby's classroom, he dots the "I" in "REMINDER" on the blackboard. However, the word was in capital letters, so the "I" needn't have been dotted. Monk wouldn't make this mistake. (And the word is written in plain block sans-serif letters, so he's not adding a missing line: he's definitely dotting the capital I.)

Corrected entry: The guy who put the moonrock into Julie's tank replaced it with an exact replica, but he was never alone with the moonrock long enough to make a replica.
Correction: You don't have to be alone with a rock to make a replica! A good set of photos will do the job just as well.

Corrected entry: In some episodes, the word 'fictitious' in the credits disclaimer at the end is spelled 'ficticious'.
Correction: I saw the entire season 1 of Family Guy again and all the episodes, the word "fictitious" shown on the disclaimer in the credits is spelled correctly.

Mr. Monk and the Blackout - S3-E3
Corrected entry: Monk insists on taking the stairs because he has a fear of elevators, but in previous episodes he has used elevators quite contentedly.
Correction: In this episode it isn't that he is afraid of elevators, but he notices that the floor of the elevator car doesn't line up properly with the floor of the room, and is thus "crooked" and "unsafe." This is why he insists on taking the stairs.

Corrected entry: During this episode, Chris still goes to Buddy Cianci Jr. High, but the teacher who catches him with the vodka was seen in the episode "Let's Go to the Hop" as a teacher from Meg's school, James Woods High.
Correction: There are several possible explanations to this, the most likely one that the teacher had simply switched schools. Maybe he got a new job, or maybe he was a substitute who filled different positions at different times.

Corrected entry: The 'Australian' has no Australian accent whatsoever.
Correction: So? Coming from another country doesn't automatically mean a deep accent.
Correction: He definitely has an Australian accent. American actor James Coburn wasn't perfect, but one can definitely tell it is supposed to be Australian.

Corrected entry: When Peter is driving Stewie to Disneyland, the scenery flashing past the windows is just the same few trees over and over. (00:13:25)
Correction: This is a very common technique used in animation to save the animators time and effort. It can't really be classified as a mistake.

Corrected entry: In the opening titles, as the Griffins are dancing up the stairs, Lois is nowhere near Stewie, but in the next shot, she is holding him.
Correction: This is the introduction to the show. It is not supposed to have continuity. Why would a regular family have showgirls and an enormous staircase either?

Corrected entry: At the wedding, when Bob says "You have to be more flexible", Helen is holding her bouquet of flowers up, but in the next shot, the bouquet is nowhere to be seen. (00:09:20)
Correction: The shot you're referring to is a close-up of Helen's face. The bouquet is out of shot.

Corrected entry: Monk shouldn't be allowed to do jury duty because he is a detective and his views towards the accused could be partial.
Correction: Not so. It is at the discretion of both the Prosecuting and Defense Attorney whom they seat on the jury and whom they excuse, taking into consideration the type of trial, nature of the offense and credibility of the juror. My father is a retired police officer and was called for jury duty and seated three times during and after his tenure with the police department.

Corrected entry: It is implied in this episode that Monk only wears one style of shirt, but in other episodes he has worn different shirts (albeit similar).

Corrected entry: Sean Bean's contract was for all three films. That is why we see flashbacks of Boromir in this movie (Pippin remembering Boromir's death in Denethor's hall) and 'The Two Towers' (Boromir restraining Frodo at the Bridge of Khazad-Dum). In the Extended Editions, new footage of Boromir is seen in both films (Denethor hallucinating a vision of Boromir in this film and Boromir commanding his troops at Osgiliath in 'The Two Towers').
Correction: The scenes had nothing to do with Sean Bean's contract. An actor's contract specifies that he will be paid for the work he does, not that the footage will be used in the final film. An example is Christopher Lee, whose contract was for all three films, but who was cut out of the third film entirely.
Corrected entry: Bill the Pony is nowhere to be seen when they are climbing the mountain, but he is back when they reach the gates of Moria.
Correction: Bill is tagging along in all the scenes between Rivendell and Moria. Often at the back of the Fellowship, but he is there.

Corrected entry: When Peter and Kyle are talking in Kyle's bedroom (just before Peter beats Kyle up), Kyle mocks Peter by saying "My name's Peter Griffin! I'm a big fat dumb butt-face!", but Peter never introduced himself as 'Peter Griffin', he introduced himself as 'Chris Griffin's father'.
