Corrected entry: Ace states that Kryten is not waterproof, yet he must have got wet in the episode Backwards in series 3, as the ship crashes underwater, and soon after Kryten and Rimmer are in a lifeboat sailing for shore. How did they get our of the sunken ship without getting wet? He also drinks water in the "Backwards" episode, and again in series 6, in the episode "Legion". (00:19:20)

Smallville (2001)
Corrected entry: Chloe records Lionel's incriminating statement and then says to him, "I have your entire confession recorded on my voice mail, and the only person that has the password is me. So if I were you, I would reconsider my father's employment situation." But Chloe's statement doesn't quite make sense. If she's the only one who can access that voice mail, then the fastest way for Lionel to prevent it from getting out would not be to indulge her, but rather to kill her as soon as possible. Chloe would only gain control over Lionel with this information if she somehow had it rigged to automatically be released unless she input the password on a regular basis, or something like that. Even Lionel doesn't acknowledge the stupdity of her statement - he says that he doesn't respond to blackmail, and offers her a completely different deal.
Correction: Chloe's been doing the investigative reporting/snooping thing for a while now. It's very likely she's made preparations for if she were to disappear or die, like a sealed letter with her voice mail/computer passwords or people other than the authorities to come looking for her if she disappears. (As we see next season, when Lois does just that.) Lionel is smart enough to consider this possibility as well.

Charmed (1998)
Corrected entry: Throughout season 6 Chris continually refers to his memories of the Charmed ones in the future (using the words "the three of you", yet in "Oh My Goddess" he tells Phoebe that if he hadn't come back, Paige would have been killed that day. So how can he have memories of the three of them when Paige died before he was born?
Correction: You've answered your own question: "if he hadn't come back, Paige would have been killed that day." He came back, so she wasn't killed that day, so he has memories of her from the future.

Charmed (1998)
Corrected entry: Tuatha says that there is no such thing as a courage potion, and when the girls search the book of shadows they also say that there is no magical way of giving confidence. But in episode 1-11, 'Feats of Clay', Piper casts a confidence spell on Doug so he will stop breaking everything in the restaurant.
Correction: Given that the confidence spell on Doug backfired and turned him into a conceited ass, they likely discounted that spell right away.

The Truth Is Out There... and It Hurts - S1-E8
Corrected entry: The morning after Prue says the truth spell, Piper is wearing a green shirt with a necklace, but when she goes to Quake, she is wearing a white top with a necklace, and when Piper is back at the manor, she is wearing the same green top, but without a necklace.
Correction: Not really a mistake. Many people have work clothes and casual clothes that they change during the day, especially in the service industry.

Red Dwarf (1988)
Corrected entry: Kryten remarks that he and Able are both "2X4C" models, when Kryten is actually a "2X4B" model.
Correction: Kryten is referred to at various points as a "Series III," a "2000 Series," and a "2X4B Model." Likely these various references are to different parts of him, (Processor, Hard Drive, etc.) so it's possible for him to contain both a 2X4B and a 2X4C model part and simply refer to himself as that particular model in some situations.

Corrected entry: There is a contradiction of when the radiation leak that wiped out the crew took place. In the episode "Stasis Leak" Lister says it was three weeks after 2nd March. However in the episode "Me Squared", Lister says it was six months after Gazpacho Soup Day, which was the 25th November.
Correction: The calendar has been shifted around a bit since the present day to accomidate the month of Geldof and a space-faring society.

Lost (2004)
Corrected entry: When Jack is playing cards with Sawyer, Sawyer deals too many cards to Jack. He deals him two, and then deals him at least one more. Neither said anything and they were going to play with them, and they're both au fait with the rules, so it's not a character mistake.
Correction: They never specify that they're playing Texas Hold'Em. They could be playing one of the variants, like Omaha, Pineapple, or Crazy Pineapple, where players DO get more than 2 cards.

Charmed (1998)
Corrected entry: In this episode, the Charmed Ones travel into the past, to 1975. Prue explains to Piper that one of the reasons Patty became a waitress was because, "With Dad gone, she had to pay the bills somehow." However, Patty was in the earliest stages of her pregnancy in this episode, while episode 1-3: "Thank You for Not Morphing" established that Victor didn't leave the family until after Phoebe was born.
Correction: When Barbas makes the girls relive their worst memories, Piper's is her father leaving "for the last time," implying that Victor left and came back several times before leaving for good. Given Victor and Patty's rocky marriage, this would have been another of those periods when he was gone and Patty had to make ends meet on her own.

Red Dwarf (1988)
Corrected entry: If the timeline has been restored at The End of the episode, Lister shouldn't be able to hold up the detached hand - it shouldn't EXIST anymore.
Correction: We've seen from previous episodes that when the timeline is altered, there's a brief "sorting out" period while causality adjusts. The other Lister's hand hadn't disappeared just yet, but would soon.
In fact recent Quantum Theory suggests that time has a way of 're-adjusting' itself. Hence the 'Grandfather' paradox being impossible because time would have a way of preventing this from happening in the first place. Or if it does other things happen after to the timeline so that things sort themselves out.
Quantum Theory suggests no such thing. All evidence in science is that the arrow of time is always to the future.

Corrected entry: If Rimmer is a hologram, why does his head make an impression on the pillow when he lies down? The pillow isn't a hologram. Rimmer doesn't ask for it to be turned on and its there when he's not in the room.
Correction: Rimmer's blankets and pillow are hologrammatic as well, since a hologram sleeps in them. They may just be left on full time for simplicity's sake.

Necromancing the Stone - S5-E21
Corrected entry: When Prue initially used the truth spell in episode 1-8, 'The Truth is out There and it Hurts', it meant anyone she asked a question had to tell the truth, and she also had to answer truthfully if she was asked anything. When Paige cast it though it only worked on Nate. If the spell had worked the same way as it had on Prue then Paige would not have had to cast it again on Grams at the end if the episode.
Correction: Paige has spent most of the season out of work and putting all her energy into studying magic full-time at this point. She's had plenty of time to revise and perfect the spell.

Charmed (1998)
Corrected entry: Even though Paige's witch-powers were removed with the disempowering spell she would still have been able to orb as that is a white-lighter power.
Correction: The spell removes any powers a witch possesses. Paige is half-whitelighter/half-witch, so the spell could take her orbing ability, since that is a power possessed by a witch.

Charmed (1998)
Corrected entry: The Baccarra demon uses the same spell that Tuatha used 'That Old Black Magic', but Tuatha had to have one heart for each witch she disempowered and the Baccarra apparently disempowered them all with one heart.
Correction: Baccara tells his past self that the spell is from the future, so it's likely that the spell has been "improved on" so that only one heart is now needed.

Charmed (1998)
Corrected entry: How come when Rex (Season 1) astral projected, he couldn't be seen, but when Prue astral projects, she can be seen?
Correction: Prue's astral projection is a different version of the power than the warlock ability, as we see later on when Barbas astral projects as well.

Correction: Kryten is likely at least "water-resistant," otherwise he could never get even slightly wet. We never actually saw them leave Starbug in "Backwards," he may have put on a scuba suit. As for drinking water, those systems may be waterproofed to allow for coolant intake without his entire body being waterproofed.
