Corrected entry: Spike bursts into the Trio's lair by breaking through a side door that leads to the outside. But they didn't invite him in, so he shouldn't have been able to enter like that.

House, M.D. (2004)
Corrected entry: When House is walking out after screening the movie, Cuddy says, "Where are you going? Rescue kittens from trees, read to deaf kids?" Reading to deaf kids makes no sense. You would read to blind kids.
Correction: Cuddy's trying to wind him up. It doesn't have to make sense. In fact, given that she's trying to push House's buttons, the less sense made, the better.

Mallrats (1995)
Corrected entry: Whilst in the mall Renee changes her outfit three times. First, when Brodie first spots her in the mall in a shop, second, when Brodie and Shannon are outside the lift and third, when T. S. and Brodie get arrested and she is standing in the shoe shop. However, when Renee and Shannon appear in the audience of the game show she has changed back to the second outfit and tied her hair up.
Correction: She's at the mall shopping and getting ready for her date later, so she'd be trying on different things and wearing them out of the store before settling on something for her date. According to the commentary track, Shannen Doherty's contract said that she got to keep any of the clothes her character wore in the film, so she used this same justification to scam an entire new wardrobe on the studio's dime.

Hot Fuzz (2007)
Corrected entry: When Nick Frost and Simon Pegg fire the shotguns during the shootout at the end, the rounds cause a large hole in the people they hit. Shotguns fire lots of small lead balls, which spread over a large distance, so at the distance at which they shoot, wouldn't cause this large hole.
Correction: Shotguns can be loaded with solid slugs as well as shot pellets. A slug from a shotgun would leave a single big hole.

Casino Royale (2006)
Corrected entry: At the end of the poker game in Bahamas, Bond gives the opportunity to the other player to get his money back by accepting his car as a bet. Then the car keys are placed on the pot. Bond wins the hand, and before leaving the table, asks for the valet parking ticket, which is handed to him. If the car was on valet parking, the other player shouldn't have been able to provide the car keys at that moment.
Correction: It's not unheard of for people to carry a second key on a different chain with them in case they get locked out or if they want to leave the car running or a number of reasons. I do it.

Goldeneye (1995)
Corrected entry: When Bond first meets with Wade, Bond says his name and Wade replies "Are you a gardener or something?" In reality, Ian Fleming based his character's name on a real life gardener whose name happened to be James Bond.
Correction: James Bond was the author of the book "Birds of the West Indies," which was a favorite book of Fleming's. He may have had an interest in gardening as well, however, it is the book for which he is more famous.

Red Dwarf (1988)
Corrected entry: When Ace's spaceship crashes into Starbug in "Dimension Jump," the two craft are roughly the same size. But in "Stoke Me A Clipper," he is able to comfortably park inside Starbug.
Correction: The run-in with the future selves and being killed by them at The End of season 6 caused reality to destabilize and changes to the ship. (At one point, one of the cargo decks is said to have increased capacity 44%.) Making it big enough to land Ace's dimension ship inside could be one of those changes.

Charmed (1998)
Witch Trial - S2-E1
Corrected entry: Grams appears to the sisters (Prue, Piper and Phoebe) for the first time in the second season, "Witch Trial." When Prue dies (season three) Grams tells Piper and Phoebe they aren't ready to see her yet, but five seasons/years later they still don't get to see her, even though they got to see Grams approx. 2 years after her death.
Correction: It is found out that Prue's spirit never made it to the same place as Grams and Patty. Instead her spirit went into a witch that was in a coma, Patience. It is shown in the comic/graphic novels that follow on from the TV series. Which means that she could never have been summoned.
Correction: We don't know what qualifies as "ready." It could be getting over losing her, which they never fully did; it could be needing her badly enough, which they didn't once Paige came about; or it could be some cosmic thing that we never found out. The "rules" on what makes them ready aren't ever explained.

28 Weeks Later (2007)
Corrected entry: You can see lots of skeletons in the underground. It makes us think that the bodies' flesh was decomposed in 28 weeks, which is strange because human flesh needs more than 1 year to be totally decomposed.
Correction: It's never made clear whether or not the infected eat the dead, but they DO drag them off and do SOMETHING to them. Alternately, the infection may speed up decomposition.

Doctor Who (2005)
The Christmas Invasion - S2-E2
Corrected entry: When the Doctor wakes up, Hariet Jones and her translator don't have to read from the electric translation device any more because the TARDIS is translating for them. But they've never been anywhere in the TARDIS.
Correction: The translation ability is comprised of equal parts of the TARDIS translation circuit and the Doctor's natural Time Lord telepathy. The ability has been explained in the original series as something that a Time Lord can share with his friends. As the Doctor regained consciousness, since he was likely expecting to be surrounded by Rose, her mum, and Mickey (friends), he could have simply shared with everyone in the area.

Dead Rising
Corrected entry: At the very beginning of the game in 72 Hour Mode, when you make it to the security room after the incident in the Entrance Plaza, Brad tells Otis to seal the door tight, making it impossible to enter or exit the door for the rest of the game. However, in Overtime Mode, which takes place right after 72 Hour Mode, the door is now open.
Correction: The Army forces the door open when they arrive in 72-hour mode. You can use this door after that point in the 72-hour mode as well.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer (1997)
Corrected entry: In other episodes we see how easily vampires combust, but in this episode a match is thrown onto Angel's bare chest and it only burns him.
Correction: Older vampires don't burst into flame as easily as younger ones. VampWillow knows a match isn't enough fire to destroy Angel. (Otherwise, what would be the point of doing it to torture him?)

Correction: Faith lives in a motel. Public accommodations are an exception to the invitation rule.

28 Weeks Later (2007)
Corrected entry: When the kids try to escape quarantine, the get across a bridge in the docks. A sniper sees them and says in a soft voice "Where do you think you are going" yet does NOT stop them! If this is quarantine then they WOULD have been prevented from leaving.
Correction: The only way he could have "stopped" them at that point would have been to shoot them. Granted, that's what he SHOULD have done, however he chose to report them instead, which is why the Army found them later. Character mistake, if anything.

Red Dwarf (1988)
Corrected entry: As Cassandra can see the future, she would have known that her revenge plan against Lister would fail. (00:23:35)
Correction: True, however, if you knew when, where, how, and who was going to kill you, wouldn't you at least TRY to do something to stop it?

28 Days Later (2002)
Corrected entry: At the mansion, the British Army have laced the surrounding area with land mines. The problem is, the British Army do not use or have access to land mines due to the International Banning of Land Mines. The two significant militaries (that is, militaries that would be able to help the British) that use them are the Chinese and the U.S Army; but there is no mention of either of these forces.
Correction: In the 28 days since the Infection broke out, US or Chinese forces could have lent aid, including land mines, then pulled out once it was obvious that the situation was out of control.

Corrected entry: In the first season, witches aren't allowed to know they have a whitelighter, but later in the seasons, all Leo's witches call for him.

Doctor Who (2005)
Corrected entry: Cassandra says that being inside a male body is an entirely new experience. But in "The End of the World", she said she was born a boy (a "gender reassignment" being presumably one his/her many cosmetic surgical procedures).
Correction: She doesn't say at what age the gender reassignment was done. Given that this is the future, her parents may have done it immediately after her birth or at such a young age that she doesn't remember anything about being a boy.
She doesn't say that being in a male body is a new experience. She says, "Ooh, I'm a man! So many parts... And hardly used!" Yes, she was born male, but given that a comment she makes in "The End of the World" implies she is at least 2,000 years old, it's been a long time since she was last in a male body. And as regards the "hardly used" comment, Cassandra can probably tell, given she has some access to the memories of the person she's possessing, that the Doctor hasn't had that body for very long.

South Park (1997)
Cartman's Incredible Gift - S8-E13
Corrected entry: Stark's Pond was destroyed to make room for the Wall-Mart parking lot. Yet, later in this episode, the pond is intact.
Correction: The whole town of South Park is destroyed in almost every episode and rebuilt in time for the next one. It's entirely likely that after getting rid of Wall-Mart, they remade Stark's Pond.

Red Dwarf (1988)
Corrected entry: Rimmer is riding a motorcycle just before the battle. As he is a hologram this would be impossible.
Correction: The motorcycle is a hologram, which is why Holly's face appears in the headlight.

Correction: Spike was invited into Warren's house by his mother off-screen at the end of "I Was Made To Love You." The Trio doesn't have access to the spell to undo the invitation, so it's still accessible to him.
