16 Blocks (2006)

Factual error: When Eddie and Jack are in the ambulance you see a curtain over the window behind Jack. This would be a MAJOR infection control/sterility issue and therefore no ambulances have curtains, especially linen.

The Forgotten (2004)

Continuity mistake: When Telly is walking on the bridge and stops to look at the rooftop playground there are two different bridges. The aerial shots show a much wider, more open walkway than the shots from the bridge. Note how wide the concrete squares are in relation to her body. In the aerial shot the middle seam between the squares is just a crack, but from the bridge you see that the seam behind her is smoothed over by cement or similar. (00:34:40 - 00:34:50)

Factual error: In the final scene Dix is carrying a beer in the hand he just got shot in. After being shot in the palm of the hand there would be too much bone/ muscle trauma to be able to grip anything for quite a while, if ever. (01:34:15)

Question: Does anyone know if that was really Liz Taylor's old house as they mentioned in the movie?

EMTurbo

Chosen answer: Sadly no, it was was designed by architect David Fowler for his mother in 1963, not for Liz Taylor in the '50s as stated. It has since been torn down.

Are We There Yet? (2005)

Trivia: In the extra features on the DVD the director is talking about looking all over the country for the kids in the cast. The little girl was actually a regular on Disney's "Out of the Box" for some time.

Hostage (2005)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where the boys first see the family they show a closeup of the three of them. There is an American flag sticker behind Dennis' head and a fish behind Mars' head in the back window. When they pull away from the market the stickers aren't there. (00:15:00 - 00:15:35)

General questions

I am trying to find the title to a movie. The main part I remember is an old mafia boss in a wheelchair that jumps out of it to save a baby's life to achieve "pennance" with God. Any ideas? I think Jeff Speakman was in it.

EMTurbo

Chosen answer: The name of the movie is Crackerjack, and the main character is Thomas Ian Griffith, not Jeff Speakman.

Godzilla (1998)

Factual error: The guys in BDU's (camouflage) have their sleeves rolled up with the lighter colored inside material showing. They are supposed to be Army soldiers. Only the Marines roll their sleeves this way. The rest of us can roll our sleeves up but have to fold the outer layer in a way that the darker camouflage material is still showing.

Road House (1989)

Factual error: When Bigfoot is about to drive through the car dealership it squeals tires with a high pitched squeal. IF it could spin those big meats it would be a deep hound dog like bark. (01:40:40)

It Takes Two (1988)

Continuity mistake: The limos in this movie are newer Lincoln limos with nice smooth rounded body lines/ fenders. There is a helicopter shot showing the limos passing some school buses and they are older square fender type limos.

Trivia: In the scene where El Mariachi is looking in his guitar case, you can see the throwing knives Cucuy was throwing at him in "Desperado" (1995). They are the ones with the big crosses secured to the lid of the guitar case.
