Question: Wasn't there an "original" scene (edited out in favor of the existing scene) where everyone is below the church, and Ian is leaving Ben, Abigail, Riley, and Patrick behind to go to Boston, and Ian not only threatens to shoot Riley if he speaks again, but he also does shoot Ben's dad Patrick? I can recall that scene - shot in the upper front shoulder area, and he collapses, etc. I don't recall what happens to Patrick after that, since they find the treasure room after that. Do you recall?

National Treasure (2004)
Answer: I saw it in the theater twice and that scene did not happen.
Answer: I've seen that movie a dozen times. I don't believe that scene exists.
Answer: After reading your question, I had a vague flashback about the scene as you described it, maybe from when I saw the theatrical version. I searched, but I can't find any online reference to it, but I think you are right and the film may have since been re-edited. I hope someone else can verify this.

Night Court (1984)
Question: I barely remember an episode where a personal video in question was to be viewed in the judge's chambers. Of course Dan wanted to be in on the viewing. Before Harry left the bench his court clerk or the defense made a comment (do not know which clerk or defense) regarding the viewing of the tape. Harry answered something to the effect that they were going to review the tape for the four (or five) points of interest of a woman's anatomy. She stands there while the men all follow Harry out of the court room. The person (clerk or defense) silently and slowly counted on her fingers and then looks up and says, "Oh my God." Does anyone know which episode this was?
Answer: Season 1 episode 3 "The Former Harry Stone".

Don't Bug the Mosquitoes - S2-E12
Question: Toward the end of the episode, Mr. Howell is in front of the stage, Gilligan, Skipper, and Professor are in the chairs, and the Honeybees (the girls) are on stage behind the curtain. So, who opens the curtains?
Chosen answer: Since there is no way any of them could have opened the curtain I would say it is a mistake.
I think it's the monkey! Maybe they cut them out of that episode and forgot about the curtain part.

Home Improvement (1991)
Question: Was the actor who played Cal Boreland really Richard Karn's brother in real life?
Answer: No the guy sent in a picture of himself because he thought he looked like Al. So they brought him on the show as his brother.
Answer: According to imdb.com: Richard has only one sister. http://uk.imdb.com/name/nm0439781/bio.
Answer: It should also be noted, Richard Karn is his stage name as Karn is his middle name. His real name is Richard Wilson. Cal was played by Keith Lehman.
Siblings can have different last names. One might have a different father. Maybe one legally changed his name for some reason, or a man took his wife's last name (not as common, but it happens). Of course, these two actors are not actually related, but I just wanted to point this out.

Arnold's Hat/Stoop Kid - S1-E3
Question: Did Harold already know that the Stoop Kid had just left his stoop the first time? He would have known that a while ago due to a large crowd in the city or even in the newspaper.
Answer: No, he did not. He is seen getting off the bus with a suitcase, so he must have not been home for a few days so there is no way he could have known.

Question: If Jack Frost was able to change history simply by running over and putting the coat on, why couldn't Scott do the same thing, instead of holding Jack so his younger self had time to put it on?

National Treasure (2004)
Question: Who found the first treasure?
Answer: There was no treasure - it was a fake room in case anyone got that far, without a way to get into the real treasure room.
Then what was that stuff they found near the end of the movie if there was no treasure?
They were referring to the first empty room that looked looted. There was never anything there, it was a red herring.

Question: In this episode, as the Professor is put into a trance, in the background, there seems to be a radio or television transmission tower that can be seen over the roof of the hut. It's blurry, but doesn't seem to be a standard palm tree. Is this a mistake, or set error, or my imagination?
Chosen answer: It looks like a mistake to me I see it when the Professor is put into a trance, but it is not there later.

General questions
Can anyone tell me the title of a fantasy/sci fi TV movie that aired on Nickelodeon at least once in the late 1990s with a plot involving a brother and sister in a ravaged ghetto like city full of corruption where they lived with their grandfather. People there are taken for bizarre mind experiments all the time, so the grandfather send them on a journey through a desert to find some utopia like haven. The grandfather can't go because of his failing health. The brother and sister set off, all the while being chased by the evil authorities. Along the way, they pick up a few friends, including a couple younger boys, a teen-aged desert drifter, a big bald guy, and a girl from the city who lost her boyfriend to the evil mind experiments. After escaping capture at least once, they make their way through a maze filled with poison gas and find a beautiful safe haven on a beach to live happily ever after. Last image being a grave stone/monument on the beach engraved with the grandfather's name. Do you know the title? Thank you.
Answer: It is Doom Runners. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0135997/.

General questions
Around ten years ago there was a made-for-television movie shown in the U.S. The movie was shown mostly like "news reports" about a meteor heading to Earth (which I believe was actually supposed to be some kind of alien spaceship). There was something of a controversy about the movie, and the network constantly showed reminders that it was a movie, not a real news broadcast. I can't remember the network it was on, though it was definitely a broadcast network, as opposed to cable. And it is not "The 4400" (which is a much more recent cable program), nor "War of the Worlds".
Answer: It was called Without Warning.
