Question: I have a few questions. One: When Carly and Gibby are using Spencer as a test subject for their science project, they start doing different things that Spencer freaks out about. I'm no expert, but it sounds like abuse to keep him hostage in a box, even starving him, and then destroy his food. Two: Since Sam kissed Freddie, are they going to be a couple, or does this episode continue? I heard the next one was the iCarly/Victorious crossover, but I'm not sure.
Question: I need someone from across the pond to help settle an argument between me and my wife. In the episode "i Rock the Vote", Wade Collins repeatedly uses the term "hob knocker." My kids asked, "What's a 'hob knocker'?" I said that it was something they made up that sounds somewhat British, probably insulting, and possibly vulgar. My wife insists that she has heard it somewhere else. So, for the record, what, if anything, does "hob knocker" mean?
Answer: In direction translation it means 'Mischievous Spirit'. 'Hob' as in HobGoblin means clown or prankster, and 'Knocker' was an old age term for Poltergeists in mines. Miners would often complain of hearing knocking sounds down mines when there was no-one else down there, hence 'Knocker'. It's not a regular English expression though.

Question: Carly became disappointed when Spencer built a magnetic tree instead of getting a real tree. She later gets angry about the tree burning the presents she wrapped, but she later says the tree is her favorite ever. Did Carly no longer care about the burnt gifts?
Answer: No she did not, she learned that presents are not what Christmas is about.
Answer: It's when she wished Spencer was normal it made her realise the true meaning of Christmas.
Question: When Freddie gets bullied by the kids at school or harassed by Sam, why doesn't he just tell the teacher/principal?
Question: Can someone tell me who makes all the shirts for this show? Many of them are in the same type and bear nonsensical phrases like "Psycho Penguins" or "My Cheese, My Rules". If someone can tell me where to buy these shirts, I'd really appreciate it.

Question: I noticed in the Fred episode at the end when everyone in the cast's voice was sped up, Carly's wasn't. Her voice still sounded normal. Does anyone know why that is?
Answer: Her voice IS sped up.
Question: So what exactly did happen to Carly's parents that she is left with her brother, Spencer? I think in one episode Carly mentions the Marines or something, but that still doesn't answer where her mom is.
Answer: Their father is in the military and is on a submarine and the mother is never mentioned.

Question: Why do Carly and Dave keep saying how Freddie is just helping them? They considered Freddie's role in the competition to be just as important as theirs right?
Answer: I believe they meant Freddie is only helping them as in not Sam and Flick.
