Continuity mistake: Bartman Begins: When Homer asks Bart "what's with the broody get up", there are three buildings shown in the background to the right of shot. A couple seconds later, when Homer and Bart open up the manhole cover, there is now only one large building.
Revealing mistake: Bartman Begins: When Bart is telling Homer about his new powers, there are a couple of buildings to the left of shot that are drawn incorrectly. The doors to these buildings are drawn almost exactly the same as the windows, where there are no door frames or handles shown on them.
Deliberate mistake: Game Over: Just after the gates to heaven have closed on Homer and Bart, the two look up and see Shakespeare standing on a floating cloud just above the gate. However, in the initial wide shot of the gates when everyone else was running through it, Shakespeare could not be seen floating above it, presumably to make his character reveal more amusing.
Continuity mistake: Game Over: Back in Springfield, Homer sits down on the right-hand side of the couch and places his arm over the armrest. A couple seconds later, when Lisa says "We have to talk to God", the corner of the couch can be seen, but Homer cannot be seen sitting in it.
Continuity mistake: Game Over: In the first wide shot of heaven, when the gates close, the shadows of the gates are shown on the ground behind it. When the shot cuts, the shadows are suddenly in front of it.
Continuity mistake: Game Over: When Shakespeare says "Stand and unfold yourself", he is holding a quill in his left hand. The way the quill is held changes between shots.
Revealing mistake: Bargain Bin: When the Simpsons are in the living room, Homer is shown with his left arm lying on the armrest. There appears to have been an animation error, as Homer's arm is drawn as if it is placed on top of the armrest, but his arm is placed against the armrest. His arm appears to be resting and his fingers are curled as if he is supposed to be clutching the sides, but since his arm is against the side of the couch, the effect comes off as unnatural.
Continuity mistake: Bargain Bin: When the opening cutscene starts, the garage door has a handle on it. This handle disappears when Homer is doing his "looking busy" routine, then reappears when the family are running around the garden whilst being fired upon.
Continuity mistake: Bargain Bin: When Bart is describing the Simpsons Game breakdown on the internet, Homer is holding a can of beer. The can is mostly grey, with a small red label. A couple seconds later, when Homer pushes Bart out of the way, the label is now much bigger, covering almost the entirety of the can.
Continuity mistake: Grand Theft Scratchy: When the opening cutscene starts and Marge and Lisa are looking around the neighborhood, there are two cat prostitutes standing next to a house in the background. They are shown standing next to the front corner of the house in the initial shot, but when the shot cuts, they are standing closer to the front window.
Continuity mistake: Bargain Bin: In the opening shot of the cutscene, the Simpson driveway is clear, but when the family runs outside in the next shot, a thick oil stain has appeared on the driveway.
Continuity mistake: Bargain Bin: Whilst Bart says "This must be the level boss for this part of the game", Maggie can be seen being carried by Marge behind him. Maggie is shown with her hand over Marge's arm, but in the next shot, her hand is suddenly away from Marge's arm.
Continuity mistake: Bargain Bin: When the mothership flies over the Simpson house, there is a hose tap attached to the front of the house that disappears when the shot cuts.
Revealing mistake: Bargain Bin: Homer takes out a pencil so that he can put on a ruse when "the boss" turns up. This pencil seems to pop-up in his hand out of nowhere. It could have been inside a pocket on his shirt, but the pencil is too big to have been inside the pocket and there should've been an outline of the pencil is there was. The way it's all animated makes it seem as if the pencil materialised in his hand out of thin air.
Continuity mistake: Mob Rules: Apu can be seen in the mob standing behind Snake Jailbird when Quimby announces the Grand Theft Scratchy ban, but when the shot cuts, he is suddenly at the front of the mob and is now standing beside Snake Jailbird.
Continuity mistake: Game Over: When Lisa is using her Buddha hand powers to build the stairway to heaven, one of the buildings she uses is the Springfield Mall. In the shot of the mall being lifted, the area surrounding it has completely changed from when it was last seen in "Invasion of the Yokel Snatchers." A light blue building called Hailstone's has appeared which was a dark blue building when shown earlier, and the shrubbery is completely different.
Continuity mistake: Around the World in 80 Bites: When Duffman declares Homer the ultimate eating champion, the Duff cans around his belt all have red labels. When the shot cuts, the labels are now red at the top and bottom and white in the middle.
Continuity mistake: Around the World in 80 Bites: When Moe is congratulating Homer on winning the championship, the two are standing on the edge of a shadowed area. Homer is still next to the shadowed area when Duffman declares him champion, but when the shot cuts, the shadowed area is a few meters ahead of him.
Continuity mistake: Enter the Cheatrix: When Bart and Lisa arrive in the Game Engine, their arms are extended. When Bart says "Wow", their arms are at their sides.
Deliberate mistake: Game Over: When God has finished explaining how the Simpsons Game manual ended up landing in front of Bart, Homer raises a baseball bat with wings on. While it makes for an amusing moment, this bat was never seen in Homer's hands at any other point in the cutscene, nor was there anywhere for him to put it.
