Continuity mistake: During their conversation on the balcony, when Alma says "Do you really think it's possible there's a fifth Horseman?", the left side (right side from camera view) of her jumper shows a couple of inches of her shoulder. Continuity mistake: When Daniel starts doing a card trick on Thaddeus in their room, all four Horsemen are standing even with each other. A couple shots later, Henley and Jack are both suddenly standing behind Daniel and Merritt. Then a few shots after that, they are even with each other again. Extended version. (00:51:30)
Continuity mistake: When Thaddeus goes to the Horsemen's room, Daniel begins to do a card trick on him. The other Horsemen go to stand up next to him. As this happens, Henley holds a rabbit with the rabbit held straight along her arms, then the rabbit's head is held higher than the rest of its body, then back to being held straight along her arms. Alma, visible to the left of screen, has her head perfectly still after he says this. Continuity mistake: At the start of the New Orleans show, Henley is wearing trousers. But by the time, the rabbit trick begins, she is suddenly wearing a dress. She goes back to wearing trousers once she jumps into the bubble. (00:53:30 - 00:54:45)
Continuity mistake: When the horsemen's names are announced at the New Orleans show, Daniel points out that they would like to dedicate the performance too. Henley then states that it is Dylan and Alma they are dedicating it too. In the reverse angle where Henley starts saying the line, both of her arms are by her side. But when the shot cuts to a shot of Henley, her left arm is suddenly raised. Extended version. (00:53:50)
Continuity mistake: Just after Daniel and Henley put the rabbit in the box at the New Orleans show, Daniel closes the lid to the rabbit box. Daniel then says "If you'll say the magic word?" to Henley. Henley at this point, has both of her hands on her hips. Then her hands in front of her belly held together. Continuity mistake: After Daniel makes the rabbit "disappear" from the rabbit box, Henley begins to look "shocked" and raises her hands halfway. From one angle, her hands are turned 180 degrees, but from a reverse angle, her hands haven't been turned an inch. (00:55:10)
Continuity mistake: When Daniel and Henley make the rabbit re-appear during New Orleans show, Henley reaches into the box to get the rabbit. In the next shot, Henley's arms along with the rabbit are now out of the box. (00:55:35)
Continuity mistake: When Merritt begins asking Dina her account balance in the New Orleans show, as he finishes saying "4", he begins to lower his left arm. But by the next shot, his arm is back to being raised again. (00:58:35)
Continuity mistake: When Henley walks Arthur Tressler onto the stage, she says "Now Art, did you fill out your envelope?" During this shot, there is light visible on the back of her jacket. But in a closer shot of the two, the light on the back of her jacket is no longer there. (00:59:50)
Other mistake: When the Horsemen remove $70,000 from Tressler's cheque, audience member Josepha is waving her flashlight on her paper, and begins to notice something. However, it is not until the next shot where it is shown that the 70 has appeared in front of her $562 written on her paper. (01:00:50)
Answer: The mirror was inserted at an angle, so that the reflection was the ceiling and not what was in front of them. It's the same principle for how periscopes work.
