Revealing mistake: When Brian is racing the GT3RS through the mock up track we have a shot inside while he is doing a hard left. Look at the dash and the speedo on the far left is at 0 while the rev counter in the centre moves. Evidently he was stationary and just revved the car for the shot. (01:04:25)

Continuity mistake: The hole in the plastic which is around the vault Han ordered changes after Tej says "You got a 100 million dollars in a safe, are you going to put somebody else's handprint on it?" This is easiest to spot around the palm scanner: at first, it is completely free, but after that line, the plastic suddenly hangs in front of it. (01:05:40)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Hobbs confronts Dominic for the first time at the location where all of the drivers go to race, Hobbs and everyone he is with aim their guns towards Dominic. Officer Neves pulls her gun out as well but when the shot shows the whole group and Dominic says "This is Brazil!", Officer Neves has both of her hands at her sides. Right before it cuts back to her, you can see her start to reach for her gun. But the next shot shows her holding her gun out already, not just pulling it out. (01:11:00)
Continuity mistake: When Han and Gisele obtain Reyes' handprint, Reyes touches Gisele with his left hand. However, later in the film when Tej opens the vault, he uses his right hand. Handprints are not symmetrical so the biometric scanner would have rejected the initial scan until Reyes realized he was using the wrong hand. Even flipping the fabricated handprint over and using his right hand would still deny them access as handprints are not symmetrical. (01:11:02 - 01:56:27)
Visible crew/equipment: When Neves is talking to Dom in her apartment, a stage light is reflected in the TV. (01:18:40)
Other mistake: In the scene where Toretto and Hobbs are fighting, the fight is so violent that Toretto's eyes are run through glass, faces are smashed into concrete and beat endlessly. Yet when the fight is over, the next scene shows both with not so much as a mark on their faces. (01:28:00)
Audio problem: During Hobbs' and Dom's fight, Mia shouts "Dom" several times. On the first occasion though her mouth doesn't move. Clearly overdubbed. (01:28:10)
Audio problem: When Hobbs gets out of his "four wheeled tank", he readies his M4 and there is a sound of him cocking it. However, his free hand is nowhere near either the M4 itself, or the underbarrel shotgun. (01:29:50)

Continuity mistake: When Hobbs and Dom are fighting, there is a shot where there is a yellow hammer by Hobbs' head, which disappears instantly. (01:32:25)
Revealing mistake: When Neves is driving Hobbs' reinforced 4x4 and Vince is talking about his son Nico, Look through the windscreen and the background is the same shot constantly. It's them driving past a telegraph pole towards green trees that never get closer despite driving down the same road for nearly a minute at speed. (01:33:30)
Continuity mistake: When Hobbs is knocked off his feet by the RPG blast, the amount of dust on his shirt keeps changing. (01:36:15)
Continuity mistake: During the vault chase scene, the vault spins on two separate occasions, tangling the lines in the process. The first time, it is being dragged out of the police station and the second when it destroys half a bank. The lines could not have been untangled, because both times they guys were turning to the right and the vault spins in the same direction. (01:40:30)
Revealing mistake: When Dom and Brian skid to hook up the safe at the police station, tyre marks are visible on the ground from previous takes. (01:41:50)

Continuity mistake: Throughout the entire vault chase scene, the condition of Dom and Brian's car windows switch between being damaged and perfectly intact. (01:42:20)
Continuity mistake: Throughout the vault scene, the amount of police cars in pursuit is constantly changing. In one shot you have 4 black and white cars and 2 yellow 4x4's. Next shot the 4x4's have gone. (01:45:00)

Revealing mistake: When Dom is on the bridge and swerving with the safe, tyre marks from previous takes can be seen on the ground. (01:46:50)
Other mistake: Throughout the vault scene, Brian and Dom have black cars. Several times they bump into each other without getting any damage. (01:47:10)
Continuity mistake: When the mini-gun starts shooting at Dom on the bridge, at first we get a shot of a line of bullets hitting the door. In the next shot, the door is fine and the first barrage of bullets hit the bonnet. (01:47:45)

Continuity mistake: There is one point during the vault scene where a cop is leaning out the passenger window shooting at Brian and Dom while driving down the pavement. However when that car crashes just 2 seconds later, he's not in the window, which has been wound up. (01:47:50)
Other mistake: Throughout the entire chase scene at the end, the vault creates sparks on the road. Yet when they get to the bridge, no sparks appear. This cannot be due to the vault being empty at this point, as the vault itself is 10 tonnes, as mentioned earlier in the film. (01:49:00)
Answer: You probably didn't understand that when she spoke to Hobbs, she meant that Reyes is behind everything illegal. Not a mistake.
Anastasios Anastasatos
And that he literally owns the Favela, which is separate from his illegal activities. Remember he talked about the Spaniards and the Portuguese and how they conquered Brazil. He owns the Favela by providing water and electricity and daycare to the people, making him necessary in their life and willing to do anything to keep those things.
