Plot hole: In the hospital scene at the end, why does Hicks run in and push Gale out of the way? She had no way of knowing someone was holding a gun on her and was about to be shot, as far as Hicks knew Gale was just standing there talking to someone. (01:40:00)
Scream 4 (2011)
1 plot hole
Directed by: Wes Craven
Starring: Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Neve Campbell, Lucy Hale
Deliberate mistake: In the final shot of the film, Jill's head moves slightly when she's supposed to be dead. In the commentary, Wes Craven confirmed this wasn't strictly intentional, but he decided to leave the take in on purpose in case he decided to bring her back in a future installment. But unless a sequel proves she's still alive, it's technically a mistake, albeit a deliberate one.
Rachel: A fucking 'Facebook' killer... You're kidding me right?
Chloe: I guess now it would be Twitter, that'd make more sense.
Trivia: When Deputy Perkins is pretending to be dead in the squad car, Deputy Hoss reveals Perkins' first name to be "Anthony". Anthony Perkins was the name of the actor who played Norman Bates, the killer in the original "Psycho".
Question: In the final shot, we see Jill's head move a little. Was that suppose to let the viewers know that she's alive or was it just a mistake?
Answer: I actually read that they noticed this before the movie came out and left it in to keep the ending ambiguous and since they were planning to make Scream 5, they felt that would possibly be the way to go.
That's very interesting, especially now that Scream 5 is finally getting made. Although it doesn't appear that Emma Roberts is returning.

Answer: I personally submitted this as a revealing mistake. There is no official statement from Wes Craven or anyone else involved in the making of the movie about it being deliberate. So in my eyes, it's a mistake.
