Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2

Corrected entry: In the Room of Requirement scene with Harry and Draco, Draco says that he is using his mother's wand. In part 1, at Malfoy Manor, Dobby takes Narcissa's wand away from her before they disapparate.

Treebeard86

Correction: Wizards have more than one wand during their lifetimes, and Narcissa would have replaced the stolen one by now. This may also have been an old one that belonged to her.

Corrected entry: In Snape's memory when Voldemort kills Lily Potter Voldemort is shown in his resurrected body but Voldemort had his own body at that time. Snape knew him and his memory should have shown Voldemort as he looked before.

missimin

Correction: He looked the same in both bodies.

Phixius

Corrected entry: When Voldemort destroys the protective enchantments, in one shot Bellatrix shields her face with her arms but in the next shot she has her arms wide open with no time for her to have moved them.

Correction: Nonsense. There is usually a brief time lapse between shots, and it would take hardly any time for Bellatrix to move her arms from her face into the position you described.

Continuity mistake: When Voldemort kills Lily, she is wearing a sweater with high neck, long sleeves and it's red. When Snape comes in the room and sees Lily dead on the floor, she is wearing a blue blouse.

Trivia: In the scene where Hagrid has dropped a "dead" Harry Potter, look quickly at George. He turns his head to the right and yells "Fred!" Fred has already been killed by Bellatrix Lestrange so it seems he may have forgotten this in a moment of grief.

Question: After Voldemort's death, is anyone able to teach Defense Against Dark Arts for more than a year?

Answer: Yes. According to J.K. Rowling in interviews, the curse Voldemort had cast on the Defense Against the Dark Arts position preventing any teacher lasting more than one year, was finally broken upon his death, and from then on any instructor lasted beyond twelve months.

In the movies it is never mentioned that Voldemort cursed the DADA post or even applied for this position.
