Continuity mistake: After the first scene with McCullen getting the red hot mask on his face, another guy is giving a presentation of the new nanomites at an assembly. One shot, he has one hand on the podium and one at his side. The immediately following shot from a distance shows both hands gripping the podium's sides. (00:03:10)
Continuity mistake: You can see the scar on Duke's cheek changes size throughout the movie. Compare the scar at the beginning of the film and the end. Much longer at the start, but at the end it is really small. (00:04:20 - 01:46:35)
Continuity mistake: Duke and Ripcord are arguing about joining the Air Force. Moments before Duke says "I want to be on the ground in the fight, not flying over it" two large rocks come into view out his window as they pass. Shot cuts to Ripcord's reaction, then back to Duke which takes a few seconds. Those same two rocks come into view again through his window. (00:06:05)
Continuity mistake: At the very beginning, as Ana is running away with the Nano warheads with Duke following, she is first holding the case in her right hand. Cut to a shot in front of her and the case is now in her left hand. It is back in her right hand in the next shot. (00:12:10)
Continuity mistake: When Ana returns home to her husband, they converse outside the house. He asks her how it was in Monte Carlo. As he asks her this, she is entering the front door and he is about 8 feet behind, following her. The next shot shows them both in the house, and they are very close together when she answers that she didn't get what she want. (00:25:15)
Continuity mistake: When Duke proposes to Ana, she tells him "On one condition." At this moment, Duke is looking straight at her, eyes at her. The shot changes and he is suddenly looking down with eyes down. (00:27:25)
Continuity mistake: In the proposal flashback, Ana pulls down her brother roughly. The shot of him standing shows Duke sitting with a grin on his face laughing. The next shot of her brother down, shows Duke with no expression or grin. (00:27:35)
Plot hole: The super warriors that are given the venom are supposed to be fearless and without self preservation. However, during the scene in the Sahara base when they are helping to get the warheads back from the Joes, one of those men screams out in fear as he falls down the shaft, which makes no sense as the one guy did not scream in frustration when he was bitten earlier by the deadly snake and knew he would die. (00:40:20)
Character mistake: Stormshadow is a Japanese American, but in Snake-Eyes's flashback set in Tokyo, Japan 20 years earlier, Stormshadow calls out "Do dook nom ee dah," which is Korean translated to "Thief!" when he spots Snake-Eyes. (00:43:25)
Suggested correction: Traditionally Stormshadow is Japanese American. In this film he is played as a child by Brandon Soo Hoo (a Chinese/American actor) and as an adult by Byung-Hun Lee (a Korean actor). Although it is never stated, it is clear based on the fact that the young actor speaks Korean and as an adult is played by a famous Korean actor, Stormshadow in this film is intended to be of Korean heritage.
Continuity mistake: In the flashback scene where the younger Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow are fighting in the kitchen, Storm Shadow kicks the burners on on the grill as Snake Eyes runs across them. In the next shots, the grill is turned off to allow Storm Shadow to perform his leg lock choke hold just before the Hard Master walks in. (00:44:20)
Revealing mistake: During the four-year flashback scene in East Africa, after the building is bombed, two helicopters fly to the right of the building. However, because they are CGI, the telltale whirl (or any movement) the blades should have made in the smoke isn't there. (00:50:10)
Other mistake: Duke is standing right outside the bunker when it is blown up by the air bombs. He flies backwards, but gets up with only a few cuts in the face. Not very potent aerial bombs. More like hand grenades. (00:50:30)
Continuity mistake: During the chase in Paris, Ana's glasses change from dark to regular several times. (00:54:35)
Visible crew/equipment: After Ana's husband has finished weaponizing the warheads in his civilian lab, Ana kisses him. The reflection of a boom mic is visible on the right lens of her glasses. (00:55:45)
Continuity mistake: During the chase scene in Paris, at one point they drive through the Arc de Triomph. The next shot of the left side of the Hummer shows the special bumper already fitted. After that, Anna still has to redeploy it. (00:56:15)
Continuity mistake: When Duke suited up in the van before the car chase in Paris, the Gatling gun was on his right arm, while the rockets were on his left. During the chase, right after they determined the target was the Eiffel Tower, Duke raised his left arm to fire the Gatling gun. Then a few moments later, Duke again raised his left arm to fire a rocket. (00:57:25 - 00:58:45)
Revealing mistake: The close-up shot in which SnakeEyes shoots at the roof of the Hummer is flipped, the ejection port is on the wrong side of the gun. And yes, it is a real gun, not one specially made for this film. (00:57:30)
Revealing mistake: When SnakeEyes is hanging from underneath the Hummer, the same shot of him turning his head is used twice: the first time just before Scarlett blows the head off of the guy who the Baroness orders to kill SnakeEyes, and the second time just before the train hits the Hummer. (00:58:10 - 01:00:20)
Factual error: During the chase in Paris, the bad guy's car is nicked by the metro train. Instead of lunging forward (in the train's direction - and left in the car's direction) the car jumps 20 meters into the air. Even though the train has a tilting front end, the impact would never create a force in that direction. (01:00:30)
Other mistake: The train hits the Hummer in its back right corner, yet in spite of this, the Hummer still manages to get launched perfectly straight into the air. The hit from the train should have meant the Hummer was at least spinning sideways in the air as it was launched. (01:00:30)
