Factual error: When Charlotte visits Kyoto she arrives by Shinkansen (bullet train) and walks along the platform past the end of the train as if she was leaving the station. The exits at Kyoto Shinkansen platforms are in the middle and not at the end. At the end of the platform is a barrier to prevent you walking down onto the train tracks. (01:14:05)

Directed by: Sofia Coppola
Starring: Scarlett Johansson, Bill Murray, Anna Faris, Giovanni Ribisi, Akiko Takeshita, Kazuyoshi Minamimagoe
Continuity mistake: In the black toe scene when Bob and Charlotte are having lunch and Bob tells her about his massage, Charlotte rests her cheek on her fist, then the camera cuts back to Bob and Charlotte has her chopsticks in her hands, then back to Charlotte and her fist is up to her cheek again. (00:56:45)
Premium Fantasy woman: You like massage?
Bob: I don't think I like massage anymore.
Trivia: Bill Murray chose to do the film over reprising his role of Bosley in "Charlie's Angles: Full Throttle."
Question: I have read that the ditzy blonde actress was based on Cameron Diaz. Does anyone know why Sophia Coppola would pick on her in particular?
