Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones

Revealing mistake: During the scene at the dinner table with Anakin and Padme, Anakin makes a piece of fruit fly around. He then has it land on a plate and cuts it with a fork and knife. It happens fast but you don't really even need slow motion or pause to see that the fruit doesn't react to Anakin sticking his fork or knife in it at all. The knife and fork just vanish into the fruit. (00:53:20)

Continuity mistake: When Ani purposely jumps out of the speeder to catch Zam, in the same shot he does this, Obi-wan switches to the driver seat and you can see he has blue jeans on. All other shots show him wearing tannish pants.

Continuity mistake: In the fight scene in the arena, after the moving vehicle that Padme and Ani are on gets shot down, she gets into the carriage seat for cover. In the first shot, her hair is hanging down and wispy on the right side. In the next shot, it's nice and combed up. (01:54:00)

Continuity mistake: When Mace is fighting Jango in the arena, the bull charges, then again, when Jango shoots him he then turns around to face Mace. The continuity from right to left is switched, he should not have had to turn around. (01:48:25)

Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones mistake picture

Continuity mistake: In the very first scene, when the decoy for Padme is killed by the explosion, Padme's hair is hanging in two sections, in front of her shoulders. In the next shot showing Padme, her hair is gathered to one side and hanging over one shoulder, yet we never see her change it. (00:04:00)

Revealing mistake: In the scene where Anakin explains to Padmé that he must go home to find his mother, you can see in the bottom left corner that it is raining. They shot the scene on a rainy day, and then filtered out the rain on computers, but ILM forgot a few small spots.

Revealing mistake: When Obi Wan uses the Force to take the little crystal sphere from the map reader, the map reader disappears before it retracts into the floor again.

Audio problem: When Padmé falls from the ship, she screams, but her lips stay closed. (01:58:30)

Other mistake: When Jango Fett is chasing Obi-Wan in the asteroid field, Jango fires his guns and when he turns his ship, the "beams" that had been already fired turn with it. (01:05:40)

Audio problem: In the beginning of Obi-Wan's fight with Jango Fett, Obi-Wan's lightsaber is off as he dives out of the way to avoid being shot. When he turns it on again, the sound effect is missing. (00:58:35)

Continuity mistake: When Padme is stuck in the barrel and the melted metal to pour on to her, R2-D2 comes to the rescue. The problem is, by the time R2-D2 comes to stop it, the melted metal should have already poured on to her. It only took a few seconds for the metal to fill the other barrels. (01:41:30)

Audio problem: When Dooku is trying to bring down the ceiling on top of Yoda in the hangar scene, Yoda stops three rocks in midair with the force and then directs them to his left. One of these rocks hits the wall, breaks in two and also leaves a mark in the wall. Strangely that rock doesn't make any sound at all. (02:08:20)

Continuity mistake: When Jango Fett releases Obi-Wan from his grappling hook you see a huge dent on his helmet. The dent changes between being there and not being there and in size.

Revealing mistake: In a couple of shots after Obi-Wan and Jango begin to slide down the platform, the waves in the ocean below them do not move at all. It is most obvious in the scene where Jango starts to slow down his fall.

Continuity mistake: When Zam Wesell meets Jango Fett on the skyscraper ledge, the open hatch/window of her speeder changes appearance between the first two shots. In the last shot, it disappears completely. Even though not the whole speeder can be seen in this shot, a part of the hatch/window should be seen, because of its size and position. (00:10:05)

Continuity mistake: In the asteroid field, Jango Fett flies through a hole in an asteroid. Obi-Wan follows him and flies deep into the asteroid, but in the next shot, the opening in the asteroid is seen behind him, as if he just entered it. (01:05:05)

Continuity mistake: In the nightclub scene, in the shot before the huge screens showing sporting events are shown, you can see a woman walking past Obi-Wan to his left. But in the previous wide shot, she was nowhere to be seen in the area near him. (00:21:20)

Continuity mistake: When Anakin and Amidala are married, the leaves and branches above them changes between the second and the third shot. (02:09:20)

Continuity mistake: In the shot where Obi-Wan slides past Jango Fett after they went over the platform edge, Jango is lying on a black stripe on the surface. In the next shot of Jango, he is lying further away from the stripe, and his body is turned the other way. The distance between Jango and the stripe keeps changing until he begins to climb back towards the platform. (00:59:50)

Junkie: Do you wanna buy some death sticks?
Obi-Wan Kenobi: You don't want to sell me death sticks.
Junkie: I don't want to sell you death sticks.
Obi-wan Kenobi: You want to go home and rethink your life.
Junkie: I want to go home and rethink my life.

Question: The lightsaber Anakin wields in this film is described as being his first lightsaber, so why does he say "Not again!" when it's destroyed in the Geonosis factory?

JohnShel91

Chosen answer: Because he dropped it earlier while chasing Zam Wesell on Coruscant. Obi-Wan caught it that time and scolded him for losing it.
