Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones

Other mistake: In the scene where Obi-Wan landed on the cloners' planet. He gets out of his ship and the door closes automatically. If you look closely, the door doesn't close all the way, there's about a inch that stays open. (00:41:35)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Anakin and Amidala arrives at her "home" on a boat we see her stepping onto the edge of the boat as she gets off. Then we cut to a wider shot and we see her stepping onto the edge of the boat again. (00:42:10)

Continuity mistake: In the arena, Anakin asks, "What about Padmé?" and in the background, Padmé has just begun climbing the pillar. Two shots later, we see her reach the top, which means that she has somehow managed to climb to the top of the huge pillar in just two seconds. (00:42:10)

Continuity mistake: In the close-up where Anakin and Padmé disembark the boat, a man is carrying two big suitcases. In the next wide-shot, the man is carrying one big suitcase and a small one. The small one had already been carried away in the previous shot, where it can be seen standing in the upper right hand corner of the screen. (00:42:20)

Continuity mistake: When Padmé and Anakin kiss at the lake retreat, they are standing right next to each other, even after Padmé interrupts the kiss. But in the next shot from behind, they are standing further away from each other than they were in the previous shot. (00:43:55)

Revealing mistake: On Kamino, just before Prime Minister Lama Su show the young clones to Obi-Wan, the image has been reversed: watch Obi-Wan's clothes. (00:44:15)

Dr Wilson

Continuity mistake: During Obi-Wan's tour at the clone facility, as Lama Su explains that they modify the genetic structure of the clones, he is walking in front of Obi-Wan. As the next shot begins, he is walking behind him. Then, when he mentions the unaltered clone, he and Obi-Wan are walking side by side, but in the next shot, he is once again in front of him. (00:44:50)

Continuity mistake: During the meadow picnic, some of Amidala's hair is lying over her right shoulder, but in the long wide shot, it's not. (00:46:05)

Audio problem: When Amidala tells Anakin about her old boyfriend, she says, "I went in to public service.", but the last word doesn't match the movement of her lips. (00:46:20)

Continuity mistake: After Taun We asks if she and Obi-Wan can see Jango Fett, Boba Fett begins turning right (your left). In the next shot, he turns the other way. (00:48:45)

Other mistake: After Jango Fett is kicked over the platform edge, he digs his forearm claw into the surface while he slides down towards the ocean. But the claw leaves no marks. Do not confuse this with the wire that locks Jango and Obi-Wan together. (00:49:45)

Continuity mistake: When Anakin and Padmé are talking at night at the lake retreat, the flames in the fireplace are inconsistent between shots. (00:51:35)

Audio problem: When Anakin is talking to Padmé by the fireplace, he says,"My heart is beating, hoping that that kiss will not become a scar", and stops talking, but his profile shows that his lips are still moving. (00:52:30)

Revealing mistake: During the scene at the dinner table with Anakin and Padme, Anakin makes a piece of fruit fly around. He then has it land on a plate and cuts it with a fork and knife. It happens fast but you don't really even need slow motion or pause to see that the fruit doesn't react to Anakin sticking his fork or knife in it at all. The knife and fork just vanish into the fruit. (00:53:20)

Continuity mistake: When Anakin and Padme are about to eat, Anakin uses the force to levitate her pear-like fruit to his plate. He then proceeds to cut it pretty much in half. However, the piece he sends over to her is much smaller than half - we even see the remainder of the pear on his plate which is substantially larger than it was in the shot before. (00:53:25)

Revealing mistake: When Amidala and Anakin are eating and he cuts her a piece of the fruit and "floats" it back to her, the bite appears in the fruit a split second before she actually eats it. [This appears to be fixed in rereleased versions]. (00:53:40)

Continuity mistake: In the first shot of the morning scene at the lake retreat (after Anakin's nightmare about his mother), on the extreme left of the screen, you can see the shadow of Padmé being cast on the open door to the balcony. In the next shot, her shadow is cast on the door again as she walks out the door. (00:56:55)

Continuity mistake: During the scene when Obi-Wan attempts to capture Jango Fett as he departs Kamino, Fett and his son Boba can be seen about to load crates onto his ship. As soon as Boba warns Jango about Obi-Wan's presence, Jango tells Boba to get in the ship, the scene switches view, the fight between Jango and Obi-Wan starts and where did the crates go? (00:58:15)

Junkie: Do you wanna buy some death sticks?
Obi-Wan Kenobi: You don't want to sell me death sticks.
Junkie: I don't want to sell you death sticks.
Obi-wan Kenobi: You want to go home and rethink your life.
Junkie: I want to go home and rethink my life.

More trivia for Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones

Question: When Anakin and Padme get married, Anakin is wearing an outfit that is often seen on Jedi and is displaying a Jedi Padawan's hair braid. Do he and Padme not care that the man who performs the wedding is seeing him (as Jedi are not supposed to have relationships and marry)? Why not disguise him? It's a huge risk to let even one person see a Jedi getting married.

Answer: Agolerga, who officiated the wedding, would have known who both people were, especially Padme. Remember they were also keeping the marriage secret because of Padme's position as Senator. Assuming Agolerga was aware a Jedi can't marry, he may simply not care or agree with the rule. Also, as a holy man of Naboo, Anakin and Padme may have trusted him with their secret.
