Continuity mistake: When Nico looks through the window in the door to Angel's house, he steps away and is startled by the barking dog. When the dog is first heard barking, Nico's arms are at his side. When the shot cuts, his right arm is suddenly extended. (00:49:48)
Deliberate mistake: When Nico breaks the window in the door to Angel's kitchen, the entire window is broken, aside from one large piece of glass along the bottom of the window frame. When Angel finds the broken window later in the movie, the damage to the window has changed; there are now various pieces of glass around the frame. (00:49:50 - 01:35:13)
Visible crew/equipment: When Nico is walking through Angel's house after breaking in, he begins walking up the staircase. The shot cuts to an angle behind him and the shadow of the camera can be seen cast on his back for a brief moment just as the shot starts. (00:50:26)
Other mistake: When Vera returns to her house, a calendar with 2017 listed as the year can be seen on the wall. The present-day scenes take place in 2014, so there shouldn't be any reason for anyone to have a 2017 calendar. (00:56:55)
Other mistake: Vera goes into the attic and finds a computer. She opens the web browser, but when she begins to start typing, we can see that the search bar already has text typed into it. (00:57:17)
Revealing mistake: Vera types "Nico Lasarte - Murdered - 1989" into a web browser. When she clicks the search button and the screen changes to list the search results, Vera's position in the frame can be seen shifting on-screen, revealing that the shot of the search bar and the shot of the search results were two separate shots merged together. (00:57:20)
Continuity mistake: When Ursula is calling the police, when she says "Ursula Abad", she is turned away from Vera and David. When the shot cuts back to David, Ursula can be seen in the background with her head turned toward them. (00:58:40)
Continuity mistake: Leira meets up with Vera at the airport and hands her the coat she left at the hospital. When he first holds it up, the hand he is holding the coat with is positioned so that part of the coat is positioned above his hand. Then it cuts to Vera saying "What are you doing here" and Leira's thumb is positioned so that it is positioned above the rest of the coat. (01:10:10)
Other mistake: When Vera finds the Mirage book in the library, the publication year for that print of the book is listed as 2017, but the movie takes place in 2014. (01:10:38)
Continuity mistake: When Vera shows the book to Leira, he takes it off her by placing his finger on the page she is pointing to. In the same shot, his thumb can be seen pressed against the finger he is holding the page with. When the shot cuts, his thumb is now holding the front of the book. (01:10:42)
Continuity mistake: At the library, Leira looks through the Mirage book Vera handed to him for a brief moment. Whilst Vera says "His mouth told her about him", the book is open, but when the camera changes angles, the book is suddenly closed. (01:10:47)
Continuity mistake: When Vera is explaining to Leira that Karen Season found the story through Nico Lasarte, just after she says "But the hallucination was real. It was me", Leira is holding the Mirage book with the front cover facing him and then begins to turn the book around. The camera cuts to focus on Leira and the front cover is now facing him again. Continuity mistake: After Vera sets the timer on her watch to 19 hours, she tells Leira that she needs the old television and camera. Just as she says "The Lasarte could have them", she has one finger against the back of the watch, placed at the bottom of the clock. When the shot cuts, her finger is now placed against the top of the clock (still against the back side). (01:14:29)
Continuity mistake: When Vera and Leira are sitting at the crime scene after he hands her a coffee, when Vera says "You still don't believe me, right", her hair is blowing in the wind. In the next shot, her hair is completely still. (01:16:10)
Continuity mistake: Leira writes "Belmonte Hotel, Room 1016" on a piece of paper. In the close-up, she is holding it with both hands. When she says "You found Nico Lasarte" in the following shot, her left hand is slightly off the paper. (01:19:00)
Continuity mistake: Vera looks at her watch and sees there is only nine hours and 27 minutes left. She has two fingers placed against the top of the watch in the close-up shot, but when the camera cuts back to Vera, she only has one finger pressed against it. (01:19:50)
Continuity mistake: Whilst Clara is being attacked by Hilda, Clara picks up the knife. Angel tries to pull Hilda away and in doing so also lifts up Clara. When this happens, the knife Clara is holding is held sideways, but in the next shot, the knife is held upright. (01:30:40)
Other mistake: When Clara pulls the knife out of Hilda after stabbing her, in the shot of Hilda falling over the staircase, no blood can be seen on the knife. But every other time the knife is shown, there is blood on it. (01:30:53)
Continuity mistake: When Clara looks over the staircase after Hilda falls over it, in the above shot, the knife she is holding can be seen going over the staircase. When the camera changes angles, the knife has yet to go over the staircase. (01:30:57)
Continuity mistake: When Angel is shown the crime scene photos in the interrogation room, Angel puts his right hand up against his face. When the camera changes angles to focus on Leira and the other cop, his right hand is lowered. (01:31:40)
