Revealing mistake: As soon as Eddie walks into the Ink & Paint Club to see Donald and Daffy on stage, a shadow of one penguin's drink tray is cast on the wall near stage left. However, the penguin's shadow isn't animated into this shot. Instead what we can see is a shadow of the pole, which was used by puppeteers to carry the tray around the club before any animation took place. (00:15:00)

Audio problem: As Eddie walks into the bar with Roger stuffed into his coat, you can hear somebody shooting pool. But only two seconds later Eddie walks past the pool table and, here, we can see one of the patrons actually passed out and laying down on top of it. It would be impossible to shoot pool under those circumstances, which means the pool ball noises were dubbed over. (00:43:20)

Audio problem: The first thing we can hear as Eddie walks upstairs into the bar is a rack of pool balls being broken. But two seconds later he greets his buddy Harry, and at this point we can see how all of the balls have settled and a player is lined up and prepared to take his shot at the corner pocket. It takes more than two seconds for a rack of pool balls to settle. (00:11:20)

Roger Rabbit: No! Not my Jessica! Not pattycake! It can't be! It just can't be! Jessica's my wife! It's absolutely impossible! Jessica's the love of my life. The apple of my eye. The cream in my coffee.
Eddie Valiant: Well you better start drinking it black, Acme's taking the cream now.

Question: When Eddie is fighting Doom at the end he spots a box with a singing sword in it. He whips it out and sure enough, the sword starts singing. My question is, why would there even be a singing sword? Is this a reference to something else?

Carl Missouri

Answer: Valiant also shares his name with Arthurian comic strip hero Prince Valiant, who wields a singing sword, Flamberge.

Chosen answer: One of the legends of Excalibur says that the sword sang when Arthur pulled it from the stone. Bugs Bunny went on a quest for the singing sword in a cartoon once, so there's historical AND cartoon precedence for singing swords.

Captain Defenestrator

Answer: It's likely just meant to be a nonsensical gag. Notice how Eddie and Doom both give the sword a questionable look, like they're also confused as to why such a thing even exists.

Answer: This is also a gag factory where such things like that would be made for cartoons.
