Cartoon star Roger Rabbit is worried that his wife Jessica is playing pattycake with someone else, so the studio hires detective Eddie Valiant to snoop on her. But the stakes are quickly raised when Marvin Acme is found dead and Roger is the prime suspect. So Roger turns to the Toon hating Detective Eddie Valiant to help him clear his name and find what who is really behind this and why.
Revealing mistake: When the weasels are at Eddie's apartment and Roger is handcuffed to Eddie, Roger runs under the bed and drags Eddie on the floor. As he pulls him you can clearly see a board with wheels under Eddie that is pulling him under the bed. (00:38:50)

Eddie Valiant: Well you better start drinking it black, Acme's taking the cream now.
Trivia: When the taxi Jessica and Eddie are in hits the lamppost, she spins around and her dress shifts position. For a couple of frames on the laserdisc version her underwear vanishes, or at least it appears to.
