Continuity mistake: Near the end of the film when Bond and Mayday are trapped in the water rushing into the mine, her hairdo is totally drenched when her entire head is submerged and her wet, straightened hair falls onto her forehead. The next scene, when they are walking through the water and debris, her hair is beautifully sculpted as it has been through the entire film. (01:54:20)
Continuity mistake: When Bond is hanging on the mooring rope of Zorin's airship, we see a wide shot of the city and you can see that the top of the Golden Gate Bridge is covered in fog. But when the airship approaches the bridge seconds later, almost all of the fog has disappeared. (01:55:00)
Continuity mistake: When Stacey is running towards Bond after Zorin's plan to destroy Silicon Valley failed, his airship is gaining on her. When we see a view from the airship, Bond is on the grass and running on gravel, but when Zorin captures Stacey, Bond is back running on the grass again. (01:55:00)
Visible crew/equipment: If you watch very carefully when Zorin pulls Stacey into his airship, you can see a crew member reflected in the front window. (01:55:10)
Audio problem: Scarpine's comment about Bond hanging from the mooring line doesn't match his lip movement. (01:55:30)
Continuity mistake: Before Zorin says "This will hurt him more than me", the shot of the blimp is not the Zorin blimp, but the Fuji film blimp (the Fuji blimp has a green nose, whereas the Zorin blimp has a white nose with a red stripe). (01:56:30)
Revealing mistake: When we see James Bond climbing up the cable on the Golden Gate Bridge, you can see that it is not Roger Moore but his stunt double. (01:57:30)
Revealing mistake: When the airship collides with the bridge, the flame effects are visible before contact is made. (01:58:20)
Visible crew/equipment: Near the end, after May Day explodes, Zorin grabs Stacey Sutton. As he does this you can see a cable holding him out of the blimp. (01:59:20)
Revealing mistake: When Max Zorin first tries to attack Bond with a fire-axe in the duel on Golden Gate Bridge towards the end of the movie, you can see it is not Christopher Walken but his stunt double. (01:59:20)
Visible crew/equipment: When Zorin has captured Stacey and takes her to her seat in the airship, look at the left cabin window and you can see a reflection of the boom crane used to suspend the airship. (01:59:30)
Continuity mistake: During the fight between Bond and Zorin on the Golden Gate Bridge, Zorin's shoes alternate between grey slip-on loafers (worn by actor Christopher Walken) and grey trainers (worn by Walken's stunt double). (01:59:45)
Continuity mistake: Zorin supposedly falls from the top of a pillar of the Golden Gate Bridge, however 2 seconds after falling he is below the road. This is not possible as the drop is too great. Even taking into account of Zorin accelerating. (02:00:00)
Audio problem: When Bond and Stacey are escaping from the shed in the mine, Zorin fires 7 shots from his six-shot revolver. Not to be outdone, Dr. Mortimer fires 8 shots in succession from the blimp door from his six-shot. (02:00:05)
Revealing mistake: When Zorin falls off the Golden Gate bridge, you can see in the long shot it's just a dummy. (02:00:05)
Continuity mistake: When Bond grabs Stacey after the Zorin Airship blows up, you can see the fireaxe resting between them. The camera shot changes to one above them and the fireaxe has now gone. (02:01:00)
Continuity mistake: When General Gogol is in M's office at the end of the film, he is holding an Order of Lenin medal in his right hand, but few shots later he is holding a glass of champagne and the medal is nowhere to be seen. (02:01:50)
Revealing mistake: When the Russian is holding out the Order of Lenin for Bond, a square stage light or screen reflector can be seen in his glasses. (02:02:05)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where May Day is escorting a Japanese man out from the meeting inside the blimp, she's wearing sunglasses. When the man looks horrified at May Day, realizing that the stairway is leading outside and is an obvious trap, May Day is no longer wearing sunglasses.
Revealing mistake: The stuntman driving the taxi through Paris looks nothing like Roger Moore. This is especially clear when the top of the car is torn off when it hits the boom pole barrier.
