Visible crew/equipment: A cameraman can be seen in the side mirror when the van stops to pick up Artemis.
Ready Player One (2018)
1 visible crew/equipment mistake
Directed by: Steven Spielberg
Starring: Simon Pegg, T.J. Miller, Olivia Cooke, Hannah John-Kamen
Plot hole: In all scenes where special or heavy items are used against the sixers, they are 'zeroed' in waves or circles. This can be seen by their stations turning red in clusters. This makes no sense as the stations have fixed positions, meaning that the sixers would have identical positions in the Oasis and have no freedom or own will to move relative to each other.
Trivia: As Wade is explaining how people lose all their stuff if they die in the OASIS, you see a shot of Sho and Daito on Planet DOOM in a sword fight with Jason Voorhees, the iconic horror/slasher film mascot of the Friday the 13th movie franchise, wielding his trademark machete and wearing the hockey mask. Question: How are you supposed to ride a motorbike at full throttle in reverse? That is what Art3mis must have done to win the first Quest and to earn her copper key. You can see her bike standing beneath the fountain while she receives the key.
Answer: It's a virtual reality world. Machines can do anything the programmer wants them to.
Answer: In addition, it isn't specifically stated that the vehicle must actually be traveling in reverse. It could be that all she had to do was turn the bike around and drive forward, but the opposite way of the track.
Ironically, even if Halliday stated that he doesn't want to make rules, he also says particularly to go backwards, at full throttle, not forward in the opposite direction. So I will not go with that thought of yours.
Perhaps she turned around on the bike and rode it in backwards?
Answer: It wouldn't take too much in the OASIS to modify a motorcycle so that it could drive backwards to complete the race. Driving it would be difficult though.

Suggested correction: From a military point of view it makes perfect sense. AOE weapons would be most likely to hit members of the same squads, companies or battalions. It would make sense for squad mates in the oasis to stick together in stations as well. I just watched that scene. As long as the Sixers are trained soldiers or players it makes perfect sense.
