Deliberate mistake: The morning after the flyers are spread, Buster is sleeping in a drawer. When his alarm clock goes off, he hits his head at the top of the drawer, but later on, he can be seen standing up in it, easily visible when he is putting his coat on. The drawer obviously became wider for him to stand up in it.
Sing (2016)
1 deliberate mistake - chronological order
Directed by: Garth Jennings, Christophe Lourdelet
Starring: Scarlett Johansson, Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane
Other mistake: When Buster Moon is calling out the solo acts for final selection he calls Daniel's name with no megaphone and Daniel can hear his name fine. Then when Buster is making the selecting the solo finalists, Daniel cannot hear him, requiring Buster to use a megaphone to talk to him.
Gunter: This stage is about to explode with major piggy power.
Trivia: The way Ash stops playing her guitar and looks at the audience resembles the way Marty does in Back to the Future. Other references: When Buster Moon is trying to connect the wires but they won't reach, this happens in BTTF when Doc is trying to reconnect the wire to the top of the clock tower. The moon theatre even resembles the theatre in the Hill Valley town square (the one near the car park in 1985). The theatre in Sing even has a clock on it.
Question: In the trailer it shows a pig singing "Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga but this song is not on the soundtrack. Why is that? Also "Anaconda" on the soundtrack is "Oh.My.Gosh" instead of its proper title. Again, why is that? It doesn't make sense for one song to be in the movie but not on the soundtrack and for another song to not have its proper title.

Answer: It would have to do with paying royalties to the artists if the songs were included on the soundtrack album. The artists would be paid a one-time flat fee for their songs to be used in the movies or the trailers, but for albums being sold would mean some of the profits would have go to the artists. The movie studio can make just as much on the soundtrack album without certain songs being included. Regarding the title, it may be the artist wanted it changed for some reason, or the filmmakers felt it didn't fit in.
