Factual error: Although addressed throughout the film using his correct rank of Obersturmbannführer (Lieutenant-Colonel), Rudolf Höss wears the rank insignia of the lower rank of Sturmbannführer (Major).
Continuity mistake: The remote-controlled truck heads towards a long, square-shaped wall (or landscape edging), about as high as the truck. As the truck gets closer, the wall becomes a partially buried long pipe. The truck more easily goes over the less-exposed round pipe. (00:07:38)
Factual error: Fodor is woken by the nighttime cry of a fox, whilst staying on the Isle of Man. There are no foxes on the Isle of Man, and none were present in the time period of the film. (00:37:45)
Continuity mistake: When Greg (Joel Courtney) is taking photos/videos and meets Charlie, rear views show strands of his bangs dangling down the side of his right cheek, but front views show his hair neatly combed back. (00:05:52 - 00:06:15)
Continuity mistake: Cait plays the "forehead game" and correctly guesses that she is "snow". Cait apparently removes the paper from her forehead (off-screen). The timer bell rings, and the paper is on Cait's forehead as if she does not take it off. (00:57:28 - 00:58:08)
Continuity mistake: The wad of money Briggs took from the man Jimmy's dad stole from was evenly folded in half, cupped in Briggs' palm, but at least one bill was protruding upward when he stood up. As Briggs was walking into the building, a rear view showed the money was no longer cupped in his palm but extended from both sides of his hand and was in disarray. (00:05:10)
Factual error: Henk arrives in Moscow. The KGB gets a copy of his passport. In the next scene, a building can be seen, and a Trabant 601 drives through the shot (one light out). At first, it appears a gap in time can possibly explain the rearranged frames (Rock is opening mail), but a rear view while he is still reading his mail shows the frames arranged like they originally were. Factual error: Lieutenant Commander Sharp addresses the crew of the USS King. At the end, he shouts "Semper Fi." Marines say "Semper Fi," not Navy personnel. "Hooyah!" would have been more appropriate. By the way, I don't think bright metal collar insignias are worn with the blue camo uniform. They use subdued rank insignia. But I am not sure.
Visible crew/equipment: There is no light in the kitchen that can produce the light/glare in the upper right corners of Nikolaj's glasses when his mother is facing him from a couple of feet away. Also, there is glare on his glasses when he is standing in school, reading his essay, and sitting at his desk. (Lights from camera or equipment can explain the glare.) (00:03:37 - 00:06:04)

The bottle is closer to the edge, back near the centre, then towards the edge of the counter again. Leah does move her cell phone with her right hand a couple of times and holds her glass in her left, but it doesn't appear she drinks any wine and there's no sound to indicate she refills her glass or moves the wine bottle. Continuity mistake: Dad's fiancée places the photo album on her lap and holds the Christmas dance tickets between both hands. Continuity mistake: Victor slams the door to the electrical panel box on his left and its right side tilts, but - in an instant - it is upright and the electrical box to his right is tilted instead. Victor doesn't close the door to the box on his left, but it is suddenly closed. (00:38:40)
