Revealing mistake: More than once, when speaking to their robot doubles, it's obvious that both Charles and Elaine are actually just talking to nobody, given their mannerisms.
Character mistake: Educated, intelligent, lawyer Willie Gary tells Mame, "I have this reoccurring dream... [prosecuting a case against Johnnie Cochran]." It should be "recurring dream" - keeps happening repeatedly (over and over) as opposed to just happening again. (00:51:50)
Revealing mistake: Vivian talks on the phone as she walks towards the camera. A couple walks behind her in the opposite direction. A bicyclist emerges from the left-center side of the screen and heads straight across the path, perpendicularly towards the couple. The bicyclist "disappears" behind Vivian, just before he reaches (crashes into) the couple, and the camera cuts to Carol. Seconds later, Vivian still walks towards the screen, and a different person walks where the couple was. (00:14:38)
Continuity mistake: Morgan and Sophie take far too many steps to get into the tunnel, then take many more, which take them past the man on the left, but the man is still ahead of them. After they take more steps and are past him, they are back at the tunnel entrance. (00:23:18 - 00:23:50)
Continuity mistake: When Miguel is with the pedophile, he is given bread (or something similar) to eat. Shot changes, and the bread is suddenly bitten. The bread's length keeps changing several times between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Greg (Joel Courtney) is taking photos/videos and meets Charlie, rear views show strands of his bangs dangling down the side of his right cheek, but front views show his hair neatly combed back. (00:05:52 - 00:06:15)
Continuity mistake: They say Eden's former partner died in a diving accident in Barbados. Later in the movie, they are looking at statements from witnesses to the drowning from Bermuda.
Factual error: The storm chasers are meeting by the road and you see the sign for I-90 East in the background several times. This movie takes place in and around Texas, yet the route that I-90 takes is nowhere remotely close to that far south.
Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the movie, Kamala asks Carol on the porch, "Hey, do you still fly that thing?" She is holding her right hand with her left. The camera angle switches, and her left hand is low, out of frame and comes back up only seconds later after Carol's answer.
Continuity mistake: While Rob is talking to Tracey at lunch, he doesn't eat any of his salad, but its arrangement and contents vary. About half of the lettuce/greens disappear and the cherry tomato on the right side (which is underneath a leaf) is suddenly exposed. A little later, there is a third cherry tomato on his plate (near the middle-top) and lettuce/greens appear on the left side of his plate. (00:54:00)
Continuity mistake: Graham lies with a rectangular food container set length-wise down his chest. When he picks up his fork (but does not rotate the container), the container suddenly becomes width-wise across his chest. (00:07:50)
Continuity mistake: Before Francois writes on the whiteboard (dry-erase), the words at the top are not boxed-in (or underlined). After being boxed-in, the words are surrounded by more of an oval shape, then not highlighted at all - but the words on the third line are boxed-in, followed by being underlined 4 times, to not underlined, to being boxed-in again. Continuity mistake: Amy orders two black coffees. When she gets to work, she holds one cup in her right hand and helium balloons in her left. Amy sets the balloons on the floor and, carries one cup of coffee, follows Collin to his office. Amy sits at Collin's desk and has two cups of coffee next to her. (00:07:54 - 00:10:27)
Visible crew/equipment: There is no light in the kitchen that can produce the light/glare in the upper right corners of Nikolaj's glasses when his mother is facing him from a couple of feet away. Continuity mistake: Some of the advances Mark made walking toward the edge of the cliff were negated with camera shifts, placing him at earlier spots. (01:28:17)
Continuity mistake: The phone in the foyer of the Simon house is a dial pad, but changes to a rotary more than halfway through.
Factual error: Eleanor Falco is mentioned as having substance problems. No way would the FBI recruit someone with such a problem.
Continuity mistake: The position/angle of the pizza box on the bed changes. The edges of the box are roughly in alignment with the edges of the bed in front views of Sofia. In the right side view of Sofia, she holds her phone in her right hand and the pizza box is at about a 60° angle and closer to the corner of the bed. Sofia quickly switches her phone to her left hand but does not have time to also move the box back to being in alignment with the edges of the bed. (00:54:25)
Continuity mistake: A fork in Grace's square bowl props against the corner that is closest to her glass of wine. Grace holds a magazine with both hands. When Grace reaches for her wine, the bowl is at a different angle and the fork is gone. (00:08:00)
Character mistake: [Story 1: Hungry Joe] It isn't clear what blood test results the doctor receives for Joe, but Laura pleads that she "really needs to know what's wrong with her son" because "He eats, he eats, and he eats, and he never stops." The doctor dismisses Laura's concern and replies, "Growing boys eat... we'll see you in six months." The doctor should order additional tests. Blood tests can show "false negatives" and the appropriate blood tests may not have been ordered in the first place. (00:04:25 - 00:05:18)
