Continuity mistake: The kitchen walls were distorted (at awkward angles), but Zero got to the house around 6:46 and talked to Shelly for a short period of time. The now-blurred clock on the wall appeared to advance to almost 6:47, keeping a reasonably approximate pace with the scene's progress. Continuity mistake: There are two stand-up picture frames on the table. Judy knocks over one picture frame as she walks towards and points mace at Burton. Judy continues holding the mace in her right hand and purse in her left and does not bend over to upright the frame. When the camera shifted to the opposite side of the fence, the person looking through the boards (presumably, Will) was wearing sunglasses. Continuity mistake: The tattoo artist is almost finished drawing the American flag on the boy's upper right arm. After he wipes it and there's a quick camera shift, the tattoo is less complete - the stripes are bloodier, more jagged, and of unequal width like they were earlier. (00:14:31)
Continuity mistake: When the women's legs are shown walking from the smoke, the one wearing a blue skirt and white socks has her left sock fall down in the scene. In the next scene, it is back up again.
Continuity mistake: The way Banshee's bangs are combed back vary a few times in a couple minutes (elevator fight scene). Sometimes, the left side is higher than the right side and other times the highest point is near the middle of her forehead. Continuity mistake: The time of day changes multiple times during the first half of the movie. When Danny is talking to Papi, Papi is outside and the sun is in the west indicating late day. In Danny's angle the sun is right overhead. There are multiple times when it is full on overcast in one angle and cloudless blue sky in the next.
Continuity mistake: The man picks up his duffel bag and swings it over his shoulder, but does not use its strap. He runs through the woods, and the strap is over his shoulder. Just before he runs onto the beach, he swings his bag over his shoulder, as if he does not use the shoulder strap in the woods. (00:01:40)
