Continuity mistake: In the first scene at Grandma's house, she wakes Nicole and Henry up early, and tells him to go make mom some coffee. Between shots there are different continuity errors; at first the sheet is rumpled, then the blanket is covering it entirely, then when Grandma leans in and kisses him you can notice Scarlett's right arm first on her chest then behind her back, and Azhy Robertson's chest is uncovered in the second shot when he was still under the blanket up to his neck earlier. Continuity mistake: Throughout the movie in several scenes the living room has 2 couches even up until the Parks are getting ready to leave for their camping trip, 1 big one and one small. The very next scene when the Kims are getting drunk, the small couch has disappeared. This must be to make room for the Kims to slide and crawl out from under the table. The strange thing is when the Parks come back home, they don't notice that one of their couches is missing. It remains missing until the end.
Continuity mistake: After being buried alive, Wake returns to attack Howard with a pick. There isn't a speck of dirt on him.
Continuity mistake: Barney, Jim, and Angus enter a hallway that has a few lamps setting atop dresser drawers or tables. There are two lamps closest to the door; Angus stops after the first two lamps. When the camera shifts to a close-up, the hallway wall behind the lamp is no longer straight. Instead, there is an indentation (short wall) behind the lamp and the first lamp is not visible. Also, Angus becomes taller than the lamp in the close-up. (00:40:27)
Continuity mistake: When Aunt Sarah arrives, she dumps her luggage in the hands of Jim and then passes him to his right, leaving him between herself and the door. In the reverse shot, Jim is on the opposite side. (00:29:15)
Continuity mistake: In the sequence with the pigeon that tries to topple the severed hand off the gutter, twigs are right next to its fingers or not, depending from the angle. (00:06:35)
Continuity mistake: Packets of Synchronic were placed on top of the garbage already in the can and were inconsistent from one shot to another. Also, the amount of crumbled papers under the Synchronic decreased. (It is also interesting that no new garbage was placed in the can on top of the Synchronic packets even though over one day had passed).
Continuity mistake: In church, Mrs. Smith was seated at the aisle, John was to her right, and Mr. Smith was next to John. After John stood up, he was standing next to the aisle and his mother was not there. In a wide view two seconds later, Mrs. Smith is sitting next to the aisle and John and Mr. Smith are to her right again. Also, when John was standing at the aisle, he was very close to the pews on the opposite side, but when Mrs. Smith was sitting next to the aisle, the aisle was about three times as wide. Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie, the two knights are walking across the courtyard to get on their horses. When they mention the falcons' names, a young lady wearing an orange striped cape curtsies before them in passing. A couple seconds later during the close-up of girls ogling them from distance, the same lady passes in the foreground, coming from the opposite direction and in a totally different spot. (00:00:55)
Continuity mistake: In the very first sort-of-match, Saraya has against her brother in Pink Ranger drag; he shoves her against the mat for the first match. However, she lands in different spots between shots, as you can see by the lines on the canvas. (00:02:30)
Continuity mistake: During their first night at the camp, Jojo and his friend are talking while they play with their knives. During the scene the knives change position between cuts (blatant especially when they mention the brussels sprouts or when he rolls to the other side to sleep). (00:08:40)
Continuity mistake: Mario was chewing a mouthful, then lifted his drink to wash down the food, but when the camera shifted, he was back to chewing a mouthful. (00:01:59)
Continuity mistake: When Hodaka first fires his gun whilst being threatened by the man, the shell casing lands on the ground beside him, right next to his head. A couple seconds later, when Hina goes to help him up so they can run off together, the shell casing has vanished from the ground. (00:22:06)
Continuity mistake: Molly says that the show has room for a bit of improvement. The monologue writer drops a pen on the notebook. Brief cut to Molly and when he says "whatever" her the pen is in a completely different spot. (00:19:25)
Continuity mistake: After the intro, the protagonist receives a phone call from her sister. When she turns around to check out of the TV screen, one of her fellow swimmers, with quite characteristic purple hair, is immediately seen sitting down. Back to the view from inside the locker, the same aubergine-haired girl is coming from the lockers to the benches, to go sit. (00:03:45)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie, the waitress notices that Emilio for the first time in years has not completed his Sudoku yet. The sequence begins with her stopping by him and waving her hand, upturned, but the hand is then on his shoulder. She repeats the gesture at the cut. (00:01:50)
Continuity mistake: When George gets shot, he lies flat on his back. When Gloria walks in on the scene, there's a closer view of him and he is lying on his side. (01:18:45)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie, the girl gets assaulted from the back: you see at first exactly from the shot from behind that the backpack she is carrying escapes her arms, but in the subsequent shot she is still holding it. (00:02:10)
Continuity mistake: Young Theo Decker is having his first dinner with the Barbours. Seeing that he's not eating much, Nicole Kidman asks him if he would like her to ask the maid Etta to make something else. On Theo's right, Andy is holding the fork with his right hand. As Theo answers "I'm not hungry", Andy's left hand suddenly is on the table too. (00:06:00)
Continuity mistake: Zeke is in the kitchen with his daughter. He is checking out Dick's driving license; in the close-up he is holding it with his left hand, but in the following shot, as she asks him "Where'd you find it?" he is holding it in his right hand. (00:10:15)
