Continuity mistake: The front view of Sheriff Garrett [Ethan Hawke] while he is talking to Billy shows a stone-walled well between him and the cabin door, but there's no well visible in the rear view. When Billy walks out with his hands up, there appears to be a well to his right (where the horse rail should be visible), but there is no well when Sara and Rio exit the cabin. (00:14:04 - 00:15:10)
Continuity mistake: After the cartoon segment, Deni entertains some playful banter with his girlfriend and takes off, putting a shirt on while he runs. When the neighbour asks him "Late again?", the guitar strap is on opposite sides of the instrument as the editing switches to a reverse shot. (00:06:40)
Continuity mistake: Higinio emerges from his hideout to strangle with the measuring tape the man who is raping his wife. During the scene, the tape is above or below the shirt's collar and with a dangling loose end coming and going. (01:02:20)
Continuity mistake: Richard is eating a donut at the end. He takes several bites from it. After the FBI leaves and Richard has read the note, the donut is largely intact again.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of Aiai Liu's flashback, she is on a boat. Fellow prostitute Ping leans forward towards Hua saying he should treat them all fairly. Aiai she is intently cleaning a fingernail in one shot, immediately after she has the same hand placed on her cheek. (00:32:45)
Continuity mistake: When Kip is parked outside of "Payless Drugs", the driver's side windshield is smeared/smudged but is clean/clear when he pulls out seconds later. (00:37:48 - 00:38:19)
Continuity mistake: During the sign-up for the app at the beginning the girl says "I want to be Sarah." Look at her hair; mostly in front of her left shoulder, just a couple locks on the right side of her face. At the cut, hair behind the left shoulder and a bigger right bang. Camera angles and hairstyles switch again back and forth. (00:02:30)
Continuity mistake: During Stella and Will's walk, Will's scarf was consistently wrapped one time around his neck, but the length of his scarf on either side varied. The right side was usually much longer than the left side, but the ends were about even other times. When Will was lying in the snow, the scarf ends were almost equal (reaching about half-way down his coat); when he stood up, the ends were far apart. After he fell in the snow, Will got up and adjusted the scarf ends to be about the same in length. (01:25:35 - 01:29:30)
Continuity mistake: The spacing (almost touching versus several inches apart) and appearance (shape and whether there are shoots) of the two flowers in the vase on Estelle's/Betty's table at the restaurant vary. Continuity mistake: The way Linda holds her coffee cup changes numerous times, often instantly with front versus rear views. The handle switches (changes 90° or 180°) from facing towards her chest to her left knee to opposite her chest while holding the cup between her bent knees, which vary in distance apart. Continuity mistake: One of the young AWA wrestlers, Ez, is a drug dealer; we see him hand some drugs to a guy with a grey hoodie who just walks off. The camera does not cut away. A couple of seconds after the deal, Ez spots Zak's van, and he sprints away. In the next shot, he turns the corner and runs past the guy he gave the drugs to; not only is this guy completely unfazed, but he also manages to put an ungodly amount of distance between them in just a few seconds by walking so calmly. Continuity mistake: Barney, Jim, and Angus enter a hallway that has a few lamps setting atop dresser drawers or tables. There are two lamps closest to the door; Angus stops after the first two lamps. When the camera shifts to a close-up, the hallway wall behind the lamp is no longer straight. Instead, there is an indentation (short wall) behind the lamp and the first lamp is not visible. Also, Angus becomes taller than the lamp in the close-up. (00:40:27)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie, the waitress notices that Emilio for the first time in years has not completed his Sudoku yet. The sequence begins with her stopping by him and waving her hand, upturned, but the hand is then on his shoulder. She repeats the gesture at the cut. (00:01:50)
Continuity mistake: In the sequence with the pigeon that tries to topple the severed hand off the gutter, twigs are right next to its fingers or not, depending from the angle. (00:06:35)
Continuity mistake: Molly says that the show has room for a bit of improvement. The monologue writer drops a pen on the notebook. Brief cut to Molly and when he says "whatever" her the pen is in a completely different spot. (00:19:25)
Continuity mistake: During their first night at the camp, Jojo and his friend are talking while they play with their knives. During the scene the knives change position between cuts (blatant especially when they mention the brussels sprouts or when he rolls to the other side to sleep). (00:08:40)
Continuity mistake: Zeke is in the kitchen with his daughter. He is checking out Dick's driving license; in the close-up he is holding it with his left hand, but in the following shot, as she asks him "Where'd you find it?" he is holding it in his right hand. (00:10:15)
