Plot hole: There's no way that plane could have crashed and stayed intact like it did.
Factual error: The accident takes place the night of July 18, 1969, and they show there being a full moon. That night the moon was actually waxing crescent with only 14% visible, and set at 10:27pm while the accident happened about 12:45am, so there was no moon in the sky anyway.
Continuity mistake: When Kat wakes up for the second go-around of Valentine's Day (the first repetition), she scoffs at the text from Bradley, her date who bailed on her. When the text is inserted onscreen, it matches the original day's, mentioning their planned dinner and first in-person meeting. When her phone's actual screen is shown, the text from Bradley is an invitation to breakfast. They never had or planned a breakfast. The wording is very similar to Danny's invitation at the end of the movie.
Continuity mistake: Olivia is introducing her intended design, but left out of the heirloom throw pillows her client is fussing about. During the scene, in close-up (when the client asks to talk to her boss) her hair is all the way back behind her shoulders, but she has loose hair all over her blazer's collar in the remaining shots. (00:01:40)
Continuity mistake: Charlie was standing in the hole he dug and his head was below ground-level, but when Eliza was talking to him, Charlie's head was above-ground. Half of Charlie's back was above-ground when his mother [Toni Collette] was outside. Front views of Charlie standing in the hole still showed him against dirt (head below surface-level) even after he was just shown with his head above-ground. (00:51:10 - 00:51:46)
Continuity mistake: The woman in black kicks Lin through a glass frame when they are fighting on the stage. When the camera changes angles to show the woman about to step through, the shape of how the glass at the top changes. (00:51:25)
Continuity mistake: Michael sets foot into the church and meets Pastor John Soul. John has a clipboard in his left hand, as well as his glasses, as he says "But the doors of this church are always open to you." He opens his arms and the glasses are in the left hand. However in the wider shot that follows ("But, if you are looking for redemption...") here's the Pastor with the glasses in his right hand. (00:27:05)
Continuity mistake: When Nicholas Cage and his kid are enjoying a flashback, the ice lolly keeps shrinking and growing throughout the conversation. (01:14:00 - 01:15:00)
Factual error: Will's Range Rover has a rear New York license plate but not the required front plate. (00:08:25)
Continuity mistake: When the weather balloon is launched, the kids are alternately in the sun or shade depending on the camera angle.
Continuity mistake: When Megan is outside the supermarket asking people to sign her petition, a woman walks up and begins writing on the clipboard. In the first shot, the cap is on the back side of the pen. From the next angle, the woman is scribbling and lifts the pen to show the cap covering the tip that she was "writing" with.
Continuity mistake: Ray runs into his room to find Overgirl holding Red Tornado's cortex in her hand. A couple of shots later after she taunts him, she has her hands down at her sides with her fists balled and the cortex is missing. Only to appear in her hand again a couple of shots later for Ray to take. Her hand is too small, and the cortex too large for her to have simply just concealed it in her fist in the shot where it's missing. (00:50:40)
Continuity mistake: When Toni Servillo meets VerĂ³nica Echegui in the sauna, she says something in Spanish to him, and then shrugs in a close-up. The jacket and towel cover her shoulders and neck area entirely, but in the wider shot that follows, the towel is gone and the jacket is looser. (00:11:10)
Continuity mistake: Sara recovers the artifact and gets on the boat. She removes the deep-dive helmet and the oxygen tank. The villain is looking at her through his binoculars, she hasn't moved, but the equipment she took off and dropped on the deck has vanished. (00:03:00)
Continuity mistake: Addison put his sweater on (over his neck and arms into the sleeves). After his dad asked him if he was OK, the view of Addison in the mirror showed him putting his sweater on again. (00:16:04)
Continuity mistake: Alison is saying goodbye to her parents and she is wearing a long kimono. As she walks into her bedroom she is no longer wearing it, and then picks it up off her bed and puts it on. (01:07:05)
Continuity mistake: Edmund and his business partner pull over in front of the hotel. They walk out of the car, and the woman is holding a clipboard in her left hand and her smartphone in her right. When they get through the hotel doors though, she is thumbing her phone in her left hand and the clipboard is now encased in a whole document folder she did not leave the car with, in her right hand. (00:02:40)
Continuity mistake: During the Memorial Day toast, Katie's hand is on and off the glass between shots. The level of wine in the glass also changes inconsistently. (00:12:20)
Continuity mistake: Giorgio Selva meets a new barista, apparently fresh from university after a dissertation on Hannah Arendt. During this first scene with her, her ponytail moves back and in front of her shoulder. (00:03:50)
Factual error: Emmanuelle Devos goes to the airport to get her husband and daughter. Their plane landed at 7 PM (18:58 to be precise) as shown by the airport monitor. They get a cab to a hotel downtown, and then there's a scene when she books a restaurant from the hotel room. She tells her husband, who just took a shower, that they need to be at the restaurant at 8 PM. Her husband says that there's no rush then, since it's only 7 PM. Of course that's impossible, the Turin airport is about 20km away from the part of the city they are driving through, which at that hour has also significant traffic; if their plane landed at 7, at 8 PM they would hardly have any time left to spare.
