Suggested correction: The candles on the cake never light and relight. They are always lit from the point when Anna Kendrick (Nina) lights them. In one shot they look unlit due to the pillow behind them but if you look closely they are always lit.
Continuity mistake: A side view of the tennis court observation tower shows the umbrella angled around 45°, arched over Jim's head. A front view shows the umbrella behind Jim's back, more perpendicular to the ground. In the next rear view, his body is tilted toward the right, the umbrella is arched half-way over his head again, and his legs are no longer crossed. The next front view shows the umbrella in back of him again (more parallel to his upper body) and is fanned out backwards to not obstruct his face. (00:26:42)
Continuity mistake: The amount of beer in Clinton's (and in Greta's) glass fluctuates. For example, Clinton's glass is almost full, but is even closer to the rim the second time it is shown. After the amount decreases (even though he isn't shown drinking any), the amount in his glass is fuller again. (00:45:20)
Continuity mistake: Near the end, Thomas is saddling a horse. He throws the stirrup over the saddle so he can cinch the girth. But he is interrupted by the presence of the witch he loves. Somehow, the horse has had its girth cinched and the stirrup is in its proper place, all without Thomas' help.

Continuity mistake: When we first see the male volcano, he is an entire island with trees and forests. After many years have passed and sinks into the ocean, it can be seen the trees and forests have now gone. However, after he spews out of the ocean and is together with the female volcano, the male volcano suddenly has trees and forests around him again.
Continuity mistake: During the scene of the first meeting between Gus and Ruby, Krysten Ritter's hair moves back and forth (behind or in front of her left shoulder) between shots multiple times (most obvious example: when he offers her a drink). (00:12:45 - 00:14:35)
Continuity mistake: When the young girl is on the beach removing her socks, she takes three socks off.
Suggested correction: Jess is wearing yellow socks with polka dots, and yellow wellies. There are three shots in which we see Jess removing or tossing her two yellow polka dot socks, and one of her yellow wellies.
Continuity mistake: Kevin Shepherd pulls over in front of her fiancee's dad. It's still a wide angle, but you can see distinctly both her and his left arm stretched forward; she is looking at her engagement ring, he has his hand on the steering wheel. Before the camera cuts away though, he lowers his arm; it is not acknowledged in the new shot, where both have still their left arm forward. (00:03:35)
Continuity mistake: The car has rally seats through most of the film but at the end it has regular car seats.
Continuity mistake: When Newgate is feeding the blind woman in the asylum, the position of her hands on him when he is pretending to be her son keep changing from the chest, to his neck, to his head.
Continuity mistake: When Nick is instructed to leave hotel room #700 Chord verbally tells him to "go outside and turn right." but the on-screen arrow points left and we see Nick turn left. (00:29:39)
Continuity mistake: On the beach, JJ is talking over Kathy when she asks "what pact?" However when he plays back the recording it is just Kathy speaking.
Continuity mistake: Everly opens the surprise as instructed, and tosses away in horror the lid of the gift box. The lid falls off the armchair, and yet a few seconds later, with nobody else alive in the room and the protagonist that never stopped freaking out on her knees, someone picked it up and it sits by the box. Continuity mistake: In the "Another Brick in the Wall Part III" section of the show, look at the missing section of the wall on the right hand side. The bottom bricks of that section change from being filled in to being empty depending on the shot. (01:02:40 - 01:04:00)
Continuity mistake: Rich is dangling a light bulb above his dad's head. When the camera shifts to a close-up of Rich, the light bulb is higher - almost across from his own face - but back to dangling above his dad's head with the next camera shift.
