Continuity mistake: The car has rally seats through most of the film but at the end it has regular car seats.
Continuity mistake: Rich is dangling a light bulb above his dad's head. When the camera shifts to a close-up of Rich, the light bulb is higher - almost across from his own face - but back to dangling above his dad's head with the next camera shift. This is independent of Rich's dad telling him to "hold the light steady." (00:06:23)
Continuity mistake: In the beginning, Schapelle checks the boogie bag in in the check-in counter. Then she's seen carrying it over her shoulder. Then a baggage handler takes it away from the check-in counter.
Continuity mistake: Throughout the film, Nicole Kidman's hair changes color. In one particular dinner scene, her hair is everything from light blonde, to dark blonde, to red.
Continuity mistake: In the "Another Brick in the Wall Part III" section of the show, look at the missing section of the wall on the right hand side. The bottom bricks of that section change from being filled in to being empty depending on the shot. (01:02:40 - 01:04:00)
Continuity mistake: When Dex sees "his" son for the first time, the kid in close-ups is playing with the toy that dangles from above, and there's a toy football by him. In the wider angles none of the above is happening. (00:38:40)
Continuity mistake: The glass window the guy jumps through shrinks in size and has more glass in it in the next shot, when the copper looks through it. (01:03:00)
Continuity mistake: When the young girl is on the beach removing her socks, she takes three socks off.
Suggested correction: Jess is wearing yellow socks with polka dots, and yellow wellies. There are three shots in which we see Jess removing or tossing her two yellow polka dot socks, and one of her yellow wellies.
Continuity mistake: During the "Perfect Puppy" silly song, Bob places a newspaper he had been reading on the couch beside him when Larry starts singing. When Bob shows Larry the picture of the dalmatian, the newspaper has vanished. When the shot cuts back to Bob, the newspaper has returned. (00:16:55)
Continuity mistake: In a scene at a night club, Colin Firth's friend has a glass of red wine in his hand and then he has a glass of white wine.
Continuity mistake: Jay is mopping the floor after promising on the phone to his dad that he'll bring his non-existent fiancee to the wedding. He tries to talk one of the nurses into joining him. While doing so, he stands before her leaning on his mop with his left hand on top, which switches to the right hand between shots. (00:06:40)
Continuity mistake: In long shot where Lou is holding a railroad tie over his head it is turned long edge pointed up, then when the shot returns to a close up it is flat.
Continuity mistake: Tinker bell and her friends throw their swords on the barrel to defeat the pirates with their powers instead. The swords disappear in the next shot of the barrel.
Continuity mistake: The dog the boys were trying to catch was facing the fence with his nose very close to it. After one of the boys threw a blanket (or piece of material) over the dog, the dog was facing them instead of the fence. Also, the dog was not as close to the fence and the background didn't appear to be the same. (00:06:07)
Continuity mistake: During the early part of the movie, the left rear door of Doc's car is dented. For the rest of the movie, the dent is gone.
Continuity mistake: In the middle of a sentence, new text appears on the chalkboard behind the speaker, as well as new colouration on a globe behind him. (00:32:42)
Suggested correction: I've changed my mind about this entry. I realise now that these seeming errors are actually intentional, albeit hamfisted, visual manifestations of the changing timeline. I personally think this is a silly way to portray the changing of history due to time travel and the butterfly effect, but who am I to argue with how a fictional construct that seems to defy logic would play out. I'd remove my original entry but I don't see any mechanism to do that.
Continuity mistake: The movie opens with an American Football match; look out for the girl wearing number 6 for the red team, Molosses, who has mid-length locks of straight reddish hair coming out of the helmet, down her back. When a touchdown is scored and celebrations begin, number 6 takes her helmet off, revealing the face of the protagonist, Karidja Touré, who has long black hair in braids. (00:01:20 - 00:02:40)
Continuity mistake: The cut (s) on Jim's lower left lip frequently changed. At the "Wildcats" game, there appeared to be three slits, but they were not easily seen and it wasn't apparent how he got them. In the earlier beating he got from Lee's Heavy #1 and 2, his lip didn't get cut and the previous cut on his lip was not visible. When Jim met with Neville, he had three distinct vertical slits/cuts on his lower left lip. Thereafter, the appearance (presence or absence) of these cuts continued to vary. (01:25:55 - 01:31:45)
Continuity mistake: At the Queen of Night's party in her garden, Bristle's outfit and appearance change, and the inkwell disappears. (01:42:05 - 01:43:00)
Continuity mistake: Judge Pendergast calls the daughter of his therapist, who reacts with typical New York aplomb. During the scene, the same extras continue to walk back and forth with no logic, sometimes coming twice from the same direction, even. Most egregious example the blonde with a ponytail and sunglasses on top of her head. She is behind Jennifer Aniston in the opening shot and appears at least 4 times (possibly more but there's another blonde too -unless it's the same one who occasionally removed the glasses) and walks away from Aniston and Forte two times in a row.
