Continuity mistake: The glass that was dropped and shattered on the floor had a different pattern of fragments when Mitch [Robin Williams] knelt to clean it up. Most obvious was that the majority of shattered pieces settled toward Mitch's feet but were on the opposite side of the largest piece of glass during clean-up. There's also a "stupidity" in the way Mitch wiped up the glass - pressing down on the thin towel (apparently to entrap fragments), which is most likely to result in getting pierced. (00:01:40)
Continuity mistake: When the plane is on the ground, it has two engines. When it takes off, it has four.
Continuity mistake: When Paul steals the Camaro, he pulls wires out from under the dash to hot wire it. But after he gets his daughter he suddenly has keys.
Continuity mistake: Before Jesse's plate is placed on the table, the salt and pepper shakers are about a width apart. They are almost touching for a while, then back to being spaced apart. (00:10:20 - 00:11:00)
Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie after sergeant has been shot, they are rushing him to the hospital. Watch the headrest of the passenger seat. It is in place, and then when he is getting in the car, the headrest is gone. Then, it is back in place again.
Continuity mistake: Stretch takes the licence plate off the limo just before it's stolen. When he's clinging onto the bumper as it's being towed, the plate is back on.
Continuity mistake: During the sniper shooting of Adrien Brody, you have both brothers standing outside of the bank door in the pouring rain. The rain is visible during this scene, but after the sniper shoots the suspect in the head and the Brody falls to the ground, during the closeup when the police move in, there's no rain drops on Brody. Hayden Christensen is still standing up with rain falling around him.
Continuity mistake: Toward the end of the movie, when Sarah joins Laine in her room, Laine's arm is on the back of the couch; but right after Sarah sits down next to her, Laine takes her arm and puts it on the back of the couch.
Continuity mistake: When April shoots the alien, they all go outside to look at it. Behind them, you can see the windows boarded up, but they don't board them up until later in the movie.
Continuity mistake: When the crocodile catches the man he bites his right foot off. 5 seconds later as he falls into the water his foot is back. (01:21:05)
Continuity mistake: When Elizabeth Banks is getting out of Amos' car, when they get back from Bible study, from Banks' angle, you can see that his hand is on the knob on the steering wheel, whereas when the camera changes to Amos' angle, he isn't touching the knob. When the camera changes back to Banks, you can see his hand back on the knob. (00:48:10)
Continuity mistake: At the end of the film we see stuff being crossed out in a notebook. The lines that are drawn through the words keep changing from being perfectly straight to being at an angle.
Continuity mistake: When the guy is protecting his home and clearing the window with his shotgun you can see him breaking the glass on the bottom left window pane. In next shot it has the piece there again. (01:43:55)
Continuity mistake: Felix pushes the fire alarm button and exits the building. As his buddy Danny reaches him, it's obvious that multiple takes of the scene have been made, since some extras that were meters ahead of him are just passing him by at the very first cut. (00:04:30)
Continuity mistake: As the jeep with the killer goes over the cliff and smashes face down you can see nobody is in the jeep as it disintegrates the front part. (01:14:00)
Continuity mistake: As the two assistant workers walk away from the prison building at the end of the first day, Charlotte Gainsbourg's grip on her folders switches between shots.
Continuity mistake: Juana's dad buys her a bottle of lime juice hoping she can save time that way, not having to squeeze it herself fresh. She passes the bottle back to him holding it by the middle section in one shot, and by the neck in the next. (00:06:00)

Continuity mistake: When the kids are looking at the Stonehenge-type structures, the younger boy calls for everybody to come and see the hidden message. From the shot in front of the boy you can tell from his body position he's sitting up, however in the next shot from overhead, the boy is now lying down on the rock.
Continuity mistake: During the car chase, the white jeep goes from damaged to undamaged between shots. (01:08:00 - 01:09:00)
