Plot hole: When Jake first meets Reggie, he tells Reggie that the Great Turkey told him everything about him. Later in the movie, when Reggie goes back in time and introduces himself as the Great Turkey to a young Jake, he only tells Jake to find the "Pardoned Turkey" but never said that the pardoned turkey's name was Reggie, so there's no way the adult Jake would know Reggie's name when they first meet.
Factual error: A number of press photographers are present during the trial of the Great Train Robbers and they take a series of photographs of the opening proceedings. No photographer has ever been allowed in a British courtroom for any reason at any time, ever.
Revealing mistake: Early on, after Clary blasts the demon with a homemade explosion that blows a huge fireball across the kitchen and blasts out the window, there is no sign of anything being burned, not even the curtains. The kitchen is only in a slight shambles and there are small fires burning in isolated areas that never spread or char anything.
Continuity mistake: When Sandy takes a taxi and goes to Diane's house, as he is arguing with her, the sweat pattern on his shirt changes several times as the scene switches from him to her and back.
Continuity mistake: After Batman shoots Reverse Flash through the head, Flash rushes over to Batman and catches him before he falls over from his wounds. As Flash is lying him down slowly, there is no blood on Batman's face. It then cuts to a close up as Batman reaches up to pull off his mask and there is suddenly blood on his lips and chin. Continuity mistake: In the scene when Yuri's daughter is getting away from the hotel, the color of the chopper changes from green to brown between shots.
Factual error: After the USS Vengeance blasts the USS Enterprise out of Warp, Sulu says that they are 237,000km away from Earth, but the Moon is between both ships and Earth. Earth's Moon is about 380,000km away from our planet, so the Moon should have been way behind the combatants.
Factual error: When the shuttles are approaching the station, their engines are firing from the rear, meaning they are in constant acceleration toward the station. When arriving at a station, you would need to slow down as you approach, meaning the engines should be firing forward (or the shuttle should reverse direction). This happens in all scenes where shuttles are approaching the station.
Suggested correction: But the station spins to create artificial gravity for the outer rim where the ships are headed. The ships approaching are just matching speed and don't need to fully brake.
Not when accelerating toward the structure. They would have to slow their approach, then match the radial velocity of the ring, which would still mean decelerating to match the structure's relative position in orbit.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Marcus is removing the shrapnel from his leg, when he gets to the last and largest piece, he places the medallion from his necklace in his mouth to bite down on. As the scene transitions from the leg to his face as it is removed, he appears to no longer have the medallion in his mouth. Then once the shrapnel is removed, he collapses and still has the medallion in his mouth.
Continuity mistake: They trick one witch with a record recording of a boy that is lost. H&G are thrown down by it and the witch picks up a branch and begins zooming off like it is a broom. Hansel is behind her, yet despite the witch traveling faster than he is running, somehow he suddenly gets in front of her and smacks her with his gun. (00:31:10)
Audio problem: In the scene where the polite leader is addressing the Sandins for the first time he takes his mask off and starts talking to the camera but he is muted until James unmutes him. If you watch the polite leader while he is muted he mouths the words "Mr. And Mrs. Sandin" before he is unmuted. However when he is unmuted we hear him finish that statement by saying "Mrs. Sandin" again. (00:33:25)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Kenny feels he's been bit by a spider on his privates and run off the bus with everyone following after him. Kenny then pulls down his pants so they can look at it. Throughout these scenes, his pants are supposed to be pulled down. Right at the moment Kenny faints from the bite, you can see that his pants are pulled up and buttoned.
Continuity mistake: When James Franco is talking about jizzing all over Danny McBride, the camera goes behind Seth Rogan and you can blatantly see him laughing, then milliseconds later when the camera moves, his face is serious. (00:57:00)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Alan flirts with the store clerk, they share a lollipop. You can hear a "crunch" indicating that she chewed the lollipop. In the next shot, she takes the lollipop out of her mouth and it is still completely intact. (00:59:45)
Plot hole: The premise of the movie is that a group of this man's genetic offspring have united to learn his identity. He receives a stack of the bios of those in the lawsuit. One of the children he visits is severely disabled in a nursing facility and would not have been capable of joining the lawsuit.
Continuity mistake: Joe is looking through his yearbook while Marie chats with the old headmistress. He finds the page with Adrian's photo. At first, the name under the photo is Adrian Pryce. In the closeup shot, it now reads Adrian Doyle Pryce. (01:12:20)
Continuity mistake: A few minutes after Lee puts a bandage on Hugh's forehead, it disappears completely in one shot (as does the cut it was covering), before reappearing a moment later, but in a different position.
Factual error: When Ron and Freddie have breakfast in the diner, Trivial Pursuit cards are seen on the table. The game was first sold in 1982, but the movie is set in 1980.
Factual error: Near the end, Mia discovers the chainsaw in the toolshed. Glancing around, she sees a clear plastic bottle of sparkling bright blue fluid that looks like window cleaner but is marked "Chainsaw Gas." Real chainsaw fuel is a 1:40 mixture of 2-cycle motor oil (greenish-black in color) and gasoline (pinkish-amber in color), which produces a fuel that is olive-green in broad daylight. In the darkened shed where Mia finds the chainsaw, the "Chainsaw Gas" in the bottle should not appear sparkling blue, but should appear very dark green, even with artificial light behind it.
Factual error: The train liveries shown in the UK were well out of use by 1980. And the West Coast Railway (Company) did not exist at all.
