Trivia: During the opening fight scene, Comedian throws a mug at his attacker, but misses. The mug strikes the numerals on his apartment door, knocking the '1' off. This turns 3001 into "300", the name of the director's previous hit film.

Trivia: When Wolverine goes to the gym to talk to Fred, Fred gets insulted because he thinks Wolverine calls him a "blob" (Wolverine actually uses the word "bub", as he often does). In the comics Fred's character's name was the "Blob".

Trivia: In the final battle sequence, Neytiri has a white handprint on her chest as part of her warpaint. It has five fingers, indicating that it is Jake's hand - Avatars have five fingers while Na'vi only have four.

Trivia: Osamu Tezuka (creator of Astro Boy) makes a cameo appearance as a scientist in the film. He is wearing a beret and glasses.

Trivia: When the planes bombard the desert ruins, the explosion, which holds the Guinness record, took 8 months to be made, more than principal filming took! Also, the planes used while filming in fact bombarded the set, as explosives detonated for the massive explosion. Seems Michael Bay enjoyed the high budget of this film.

Trivia: In the scene where Ripcord and Duke are in the transport and Ripcord pats Heavy Duty on the back and gets his arm twisted as a result, Ripcord makes a crack about Heavy Duty having a "Kung Fu Grip". This refers to some of the earliest G.I. Joe's action figures who were advertised to have the Kung Fu Grip.

Trivia: Reese's introduction isn't the only thing that stays the same about the character between movies. Here he uses his preferred weapon - a sawed-off shotgun.
