Revealing mistake: During the first scene of Revolutionary Road, when the main characters are walking out of the school, I noticed smoke detectors on the ceiling.
Revealing mistake: When Tom Cruise and Bill Nighy go to see Tom Wilkinson for the first time there are 2 reverse shots from behind Tom and Bill - if you look you can see Tom's hand is still there - it has been digitally removed in all other shots.
Revealing mistake: Throughout the racing shots of the movie, the close up shots of the fans in the stands show the same people used multiple times as evident by them wearing the same clothes, poses, etc.
Revealing mistake: After Trevor has been lowered above the pit of magma, in an attempt to light the magnesium walls with a flare, we see shots of Sean hanging over the edge of the inside of the T-Rex skull. Sean's hands are resting on a large tooth in the skull, which clearly shakes like a fake prop each time he touches it. (01:17:15)
Revealing mistake: At the end of the movie Melissa jumps from the burning truck leaving Rusty inside. As the truck bounces down the slope it catches on fire and explodes. You can see the engine compartment of the truck is empty, no radiator or engine, just an empty volume illuminated by the flames. (01:24:00)
Revealing mistake: As Rob, Hud, and Lily are rescuing Beth from her apartment, the view outside the window is tilted roughly 45°. This is due to Beth's apartment building being partially collapsed against another building, demonstrated previously by an exterior shot. However, the characters are moving within the apartment with no difficulty or apparent change in gravity, even though they should be struggling to remain upright in a significantly tilted apartment. This makes it clear that the scene outside has been added using chroma key technology, and the camera has simply been tilted to create the illusion that they are on an angle. (01:01:30 - 01:01:52)
Revealing mistake: When Anakin, Ahsoka, and the clones begin their ascent to the monastery on planet Teth, the ascension cable of one clone trooper (second from the front when the shot begins) is not animated correctly and a gap can be seen between the end of the cable and the clone's blaster. Revealing mistake: Lighting screens are constantly reflected in McQuarry's glasses all through the film.
Revealing mistake: During the intro sequence where we see a UAV deploying a guided missile, the word "INERT" is seen stenciled on the side of the missile.
Revealing mistake: When Leela brings soup to Zap and Amy in bed. Leela is wrapped up by a tentacle. The animator forgot to erase the lines of the tentacle as it overlaps. A huge graphical error can be seen.
Revealing mistake: In the explosion of the opening scene it is apparent that cut scenes have been shot with several hours time difference because the sun has moved. This is best visible in the reflection of sun in the helmet and shadows of the vehicles in the background.
Revealing mistake: In the opening scene, when Van Damme kicks an opponent onto the boot of a London Taxi Cab, you can see the dent from previous takes.
Revealing mistake: When Zohan brings out the pot of Hummus to put out the fire, a black hose can be seen in the background running into the pot from the right side of the screen that wasn't attached to it when it was brought out.
Revealing mistake: After Mahogany is thrown off the train, as the train brakes and begins to stop, there is a shot of one of Mahogany's hung victims and you can see the whole body vibrate like rubber, which it was made out of. (01:21:47)
Revealing mistake: The El Camino that is going over the cliff, which has just been shot in the tailgate with a 50 caliber rifle, has no tailgate damage. Also at the same time stamp, when the El Camino is upside down, it is obvious there is no transmission or drive shaft in the car. They even show you this with a close-up. (00:46:20)
Revealing mistake: At the beginning of the funeral for the girl who died in the motorcycle accident, the supposed corpse can be seen breathing. (01:14:35)
Revealing mistake: When Ricky and Brandon are on the ferry, the camera shows Ricky reaching down to grab Brandon's butt and then it cuts to Chance and Eddie. If you look closely, Ricky and Brandon are re-creating the scene they just performed.
