Revealing mistake: After Sophie faints at her bachelorette party, during the next scene it cuts back and forth between shots taking place in two rooms - Donna walking into Tanya and Rosie's room, then Sophie walking into Ali and Lisa's room, and both rooms have the very same cracks and stains on the walls revealing it was filmed in the same room, but with different furniture.
Revealing mistake: Right before Rick grabs the half of the broken dagger, he is starting to stand up, only to be kicked by the Dragon Emperor and slide back about 8 feet. As he starts to stand again, you can see that the background is exactly the same as the first time he tried to stand up - meaning that both moments were taken from the same shot, despite the fact that the background should now be different.
Revealing mistake: When Max and 99 climb onto the SUV to try and get on board the plane, 23 trips Max who then knocks 99 off her feet. As she falls, you can see the black cable used to keep the stunt woman from falling off the SUV.
Revealing mistake: When Carl and Allison are hugging in the barn scene, you can see how the rain making equipment is forming a rain ring on the ground outside the barn door.
Revealing mistake: When Budderball is rolling down the hill in a snowball, he hits a tree and falls out. You can tell it is just a stuffed animal since there is a stitch on the top of his head.
Revealing mistake: Some of the shots involving the terrorists firing at the prototype suit are "flipped" duplicates of other shots. In the scene where he first emerges from the cave, several of the terrorists are firing M4-type rifles with the ejection port on the LEFT side of the rifle. In reality, except for a few specially made versions, all M4-types eject spent brass through an ejection port on the right. Later in the scene, this shot is repeated, but with the proper orientation.
Revealing mistake: During the fight scene, when Jake gets out of the car to fight the three guys in the yellow Hummer, Max lifts up his video camera after Jake throws his first punch. But after the fight, when all of the students are watching the fight on the net at school, it shows that Max is recording before the fight even begins.
Revealing mistake: In the dog poo scene, as Brennan is licking the poo, you can see it's a powdered donut.
Revealing mistake: Forest Whitaker has been running after the secret service agents for a while, but when he stops to film the cop getting shot, he isn't remotely out of breath.
Revealing mistake: When the cop makes a mold of Dave's face from the impact site, there are nostrils in the mold, which are not possible to make with such an imprint.
Revealing mistake: When the guys are heading to the vortex in the cart, you can see the tracks from the previous takes imprinted in the grass.
Revealing mistake: When Jill gives Ben the money after the first night, you can see it is just a $100 bill wrapped around a bunch of $1 dollar bills.
Revealing mistake: When taking over the Nevada test site, the head Russian drops to tie his shoe as four soldiers pull out machine guns to kill the U.S. guards. Both soldiers on the right run out of ammo, yet keep moving their guns as though they are still shooting. (00:03:10)
Revealing mistake: When Nullah and his mother are being pulled out of the tank, the stitching on the dummy used for the mother is visible.
Revealing mistake: When Liz, Abe and the Agent are shooting at the Tooth Fairies, the Agent is holding his gun in his right hand, and you can see the fingers of his left hand holding on to the top of the gun's slide while he is firing, showing that it's a prop gun and the slide isn't moving.
Revealing mistake: When Stacy exits the tent before cutting herself with the knife, the rock walls behind her "shake" like they are a set or projection. It's odd.
Revealing mistake: When Ami's chest is being drilled by the "drill-bra" at the end of the movie, you can see blood flowing from her chest, obviously because of the damage the drills are causing her. Yet, later, you can see absolutely no cuts or marks on her breasts or upper chest, where the drills were penetrating her skin. The skin is simply soaked with blood.
Revealing mistake: At the beginning, Griffin sits back on his chair after getting information about the first hacker who attacked their computer. He's about to put his hand on a trackball, and you can see for a second a badly covered Logitech's logo (they have left some characteristic details); the model is a Logitech TrackMan.
Revealing mistake: When the guys are seen piloting the UAV's, they are using Saitek X52 Pro joysticks. These are commercially available controllers for Microsoft Flight Simulator. These were obviously used as props. Even if the army did use these for some reason, they weren't turned on in the movie (the buttons glow green when turned on).
Revealing mistake: During the song "Mark it Up", when Pavi supposedly snatches the panties/thongs off of the two girls, you can see they are already in his hands before he does so.
