Revealing mistake: When Tom Cruise and Bill Nighy go to see Tom Wilkinson for the first time there are 2 reverse shots from behind Tom and Bill - if you look you can see Tom's hand is still there - it has been digitally removed in all other shots.

Tango & Cash (1989)
Other mistake: When Cash runs for the wire when escaping the prison in the long shots the stunt man's hair isn't plastered down with the rain and also where was Kurt Russell is wearing a muscle vest his stuntman is wearing a t shirt with sleeves.

Red Eye (2005)
Trivia: When in the plane's bathroom, in an early take Cillian Murphy threw Rachel McAdams so hard against the bathroom wall that he knocked her unconscious. If you look at the shot used in the movie where he throws her against the wall, you can see his hand in her hair protecting her head so he didn't hurt her again. Not a mistake, as he's not trying to knock her out in the film, just rough her up, but worth looking for.

The Juror (1996)
Continuity mistake: When Annie is driving her son home from the babysitter's at the beginning of the film, while she's driving the plaster on her second finger disappears and reappears as the shot changes.

The Field Where I Died - S4-E5
Continuity mistake: When Scully is searching through the pictures to find Sarah Kavanaugh and Sullivan Biddle, she turns the photographs over and they have a label on them to say who they are. Yet when the shot changes angle to show the photos from the back, the labels have disappeared.

Robocop (1987)
Question: Why, when Murphy/Robocop goes to his old house where he lived with his family, why are there burnt pictures/books lying around where he picks up the photo from? Surely, although his wife had moved on, she would not be so heartless as to burn all their memories together, even if she didn't want them she surely would have kept them for her son so he could have them to remember his dad.
Answer: Besides, it's the future. Just like in real life, she may have had those photos stored digitally.

The Living Daylights (1987)
Trivia: After James has got rid of the bad guy from the plane by cutting his bootlace you can see a quick shot of the stuntman being thrown around by the turbulence. what it doesn't show is that due to the turbulence the stuntman actually got thrown against the underside of the plane with such force that it knocked him out, and if it hadn't been for the other safety men on the plane watching closely and diving out the plane after him to pull his emergency chute he could have died.

Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade (1989)
Revealing mistake: After Indy jumps onto the tank from the horse there's a shot where he stands up to face the bad guy if you look at the tracks on the sand behind him, they aren't caterpillar tracks but tyre tracks. The reason is that for the close-up shots a fake tank was built on top of a car, a security measure to avoid anyone getting hurt in case they fell off.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
Revealing mistake: After the Terminator has jumped on to the truck and shot the T-1000 full of bullets he pulls the wheel to the right so that the tanker truck skids and falls but if you look closely you can see that the stunt double for the T-101 merely fakes he's pulling the wheel, and then holds onto the cab and you can see the stuntman for the T-1000 inside the cab turning the wheel before it flicks to the wider shot. The Rock (1996)

Visible crew/equipment: Right near the very end where you have the overhead shot of the bombs hitting the back of the island you see Stanley Goodspeed being thrown through the air by the force of the explosion, and into the water. As he is flying through the air you can see the wires he is attached to, to make him fly.
Trivia: The part of Daniel Malloy was originally given to River Phoenix but as principal photography rolled he died of a drug overdose outside Johnny Depp's' Viper Room. The part had to be recast quickly and Christian Slater got the job. If you look right at the end of the credits you will see the film is dedicated to River.

Millennium (1996)
Trivia: As Frank is running up the stairs in the FBI, just before he meets Peter you can see "Mulder and Scully" walking down the stair case - this is in fact David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson's stand-ins, but they do look a lot like them.

Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987)
Question: What is this connection that Guinan and Picard have that goes "deeper than friendship or family"? I just don't understand where it has come from. Am I missing something?
Chosen answer: If you recall the episode with the traveller, who takes the Enterprise out of their galaxy to one neighbouring Triangulum, we are introduced to the concept that time and space are not the "separate things they appear to be" (see season 1 episode "Where No One Has Gone Before"). This theme runs rampant throughout the series, and novels. In particular, we learn of the El Aurian's sensitivity to shifts in the space time continuum: remember the movie with the Nexus? Anywho, Picard and Guinan are intertwined lifeforms in multiple realities and timelines. In a later season, he goes back in earth time to rescue Data, and ends up saving Guinan's life: she is uniquely aware of this in her past, and knows who he is before he knows that would save her life in the future. Also, because Picard travelled back in time to be the hero, his younger self fresh out of the academy on his first captain's assignment on the starship Stargazer comes into contact with Guinans in a novel from the Stargazer series that ties up even more lose ends; after her world was destroyed, her depression so deep, created a Guinan we would be hard pressed to recognize: but she recognizes Picard as a young man in trouble with the planet's law enforcement and comes to his aid. There are other links as well, but rest assured that their connection is one that does not hold description in any language we understand: it's one that is part of the fabric of the universe, of which they share a kind of common thread. Picard is also uniquely linked to Q, but that is another thread!

Bad Boys (1995)
Trivia: Pretty much all of the dialog between Martin Lawrence and Will Smith was ad-libbed. The original script can be found here: http://www.imsdb.com/scripts/Bad-Boys.html, as Don Simpson and Jerry Buckheimer thought it would be better and more funny.

Licence to Kill (1989)
Question: I know there is one quick shot of a real iguana when Robert Davi puts it on the couch, but are all the other shots fake? And why did they use a fake iguana and not a real one in the rest of the shots?
Chosen answer: Reptiles are difficult to train and handle, and can hold up filming by being uncooperative. Using a reptile model would simply be easier and faster. Long hours on a movie set is also stressful on animals. There may be other shots with the real iguana, but I can't say for sure.

Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971)
Trivia: The daffodil that Gene Wilder eats at the end of the pure imagination song was not made of rice paper or anything nice it was made out of wax, that he had to chew and then spit out when the camera stopped rolling.

Licence to Kill (1989)
Continuity mistake: When Pam and James are in the bar, Pam isn't wearing a bullet proof vest. Yet when she stands up in the boat a few minutes later, she suddenly has this massive vest attached to her back, which took the bullet hit. (00:49:00 - 00:53:10)

Licence to Kill (1989)

Revealing mistake: In a quick shot where the divers are coming into save Sanchez as the van has been ditched into the ocean, you can see the man in the van is not Robert Davi but a stuntman. It then changes shot to the diver giving Robert Davi a spare demand valve. (00:16:05)
