Continuity mistake: After the Zombies are unleashed in the desert scene, we see Carlos crawling under the truck. At first his semi-automatic gun seems to be completely normal. The gun's slide and chamber are closed as if there are still bullets in the magazine or at least one bullet is chambered. But then the camera focuses on his gun and we see the gun's chamber is open - as if there are no bullets left. The gun didn't fire between shots so it's chamber should have been open in the first place. (00:58:10)
Continuity mistake: At the end, when the church doors open, the door on the right opens all the way in the first shot then begins to slowly close back. It is then wide open in the following shot from the other side.
Continuity mistake: When Carter and Lee are fleeing the motorcycle thugs in George's cab, the driver's seatbelt is hanging unused. In the next shot, George is suddenly wearing his seatbelt. (00:34:55)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where the mother, Denise, is finally beginning to believe their house may be haunted, and is questioning Ben as to whether or not he can see them, Ben points out the window. When Ben points, you can see that the curtain is over the window. When Denise looks back, the curtain is wide open so she can see the barn. When she looks back to Ben, the curtain is again closed.
Continuity mistake: The next morning after they have been attacked, the car windscreen that was smashed is now untouched.
Continuity mistake: Chigurh is cut deeply on his wrists when choking the officer with his handcuffs at the beginning of the movie, but later when he is doctoring the wounds on his leg, his wrists are completely visible and there are no recent injuries.
Continuity mistake: When Amada and Bobby are on the bed kissing and Amada gives Bobby a gift, he pulls the gold necklace out of the box and says it's beautiful, then begins kissing her without putting it on, but in the next shot, the necklace is around his neck.
Continuity mistake: In the scene at the dance, where the pumpkin pours cockroaches all over Priscilla, she falls over onto the cake. When she first falls onto the cake, she's just wearing tights and no shoes. In the next shot, she's wearing black shoes.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie when Jamie leaves his father, his stepmom Ella follows him and his father's head remains in an upright position. However at the end of the movie when Jamie has a flashback of everything that happened, it shows Ella was using his father as a puppet. In the flashback sequence when she lets go of his father to follow Jamie, his father's head automatically drops on his chest and does not remain upright like it did earlier.
Continuity mistake: When Nick and Annie are lying together in the hospital bed the camera switches between them a few times, every time Annie's head is either closer to Nick's than it was in the last shot or farther away than in the last shot.
Continuity mistake: The amount of sacks by the oven that Laura moves away keeps increasing and decreasing randomly all the time.
Continuity mistake: When Nikolai is sitting in the chair in the brothel, his jacket sleeve is pulled up to his elbow. When Kiril pulls Nikolai to his feet, the sleeve is pulled all the way down. (00:34:00)
Continuity mistake: Just after Samuel Jackson has an argument with his daughter he sits on the bed and gets his safe. The clock reads 11:40, but in the next shot when you see him with stuff from the safe the clock reads 11:38. (01:03:20)
Continuity mistake: When the car dies on the side of the road the headlights are off, but when Amy gets out of the car to go with David you catch the headlights shutting off.
Continuity mistake: Mike avoids colliding head-on with a pickup by swerving off the road into a farm field. He does this after passing a tractor and flatbed truck to his right. The shot changes and he is turning off the road into the field between the tractor and truck. (01:36:50)
Continuity mistake: In the opening of the movie, when Rusty and Danny are flying back to visit Rueben, you see them boarding a Gulfstream G200. However, the interior shots actually show them flying in a Gulfstream 5 (probably the one on the ramp next to the G200 when they exit the aircraft).
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Tom Cruise show the map of Iran the folder disappears and then reappears on the desk.
Continuity mistake: When the guy and girl are sitting in the car, they put the newspaper with duct tape up on the window but later on both the duct tape and newspaper are gone.
Continuity mistake: When the tentacle monster rips out a chunk of Norm's chest, a large spray of blood splashes on his right-side jaw and cheek. In every subsequent shot of him, this blood is gone and his jaws are completely clean. (00:26:30)
Continuity mistake: In the scene when Hannibal returns from Lecter Castle after the murder, his aunt is waiting for him in his home. In the close up of the aunt Hannibal's collar is up, in Hannibal's close up his collar is down. (01:05:15)
