Osmosis Jones picture

Corrected entry: A little problem with Thrax's plan: viruses, bacteria, etc. don't cause fevers themselves. That's the body's response to kill the parasites.

Correction: A standard infection-caused fever is called hyperthermia - a warming of the body to kill the infection. Thrax is causing hyperpyrexia - a syndrome where the body's normal temperature auroregulation is malfunctioning, exactly what is happening in the film.

Baby Boy picture

Corrected entry: When Jodie and Pete get shot at by Rodney,Jodie imagines that he is being killed. You can see that Pete is firing back at Rodney. But when it shows what really happened (when Jodie dives for cover) you can't see or hear Pete firing back on that scene

Correction: If Jodie is imagining he is being shot, he could very well be imagining that his boy is shooting back as well.

Vanilla Sky picture

Corrected entry: In the scene where Sofia if peeling off David's facial mask after his reconstructive surgery, you can see that the mask is already cut in sections when she peels it off.

Correction: Those are so obvious that they are almost certainly meant to be visible. Since this is a fictional type of surgery in a world that only exists in David's head, there is no way of saying that the post-surgical mask would be in one piece and not several.

Brotherhood of the Wolf picture

Corrected entry: In the fight scene at the end, Vincent Cassel motions his sword-flail back towards himself which flies into him. In the following shot, you see the sword enter him again and then hear the sword penetrate his body.

Correction: It was edited this way for stylistic purposes to give it more of an impact.

Air Bud: World Pup picture

Corrected entry: In the last scene, where Air Bud is substituted in for the injured goalie, the announcer specifically mentions that it's a women's soccer team. Air Bud may not have been kept off the team for being a dog, but Air Bud is not female.

Correction: Air Bud is no man. A woman's soccer team, at least in this instance, means it's a human female soccer team. But is not female, but is also not human. His exception to the rule goes beyond these limitations.

Jason X picture

Corrected entry: When Kinsa gets Stoney's blood splattered on her face, it is everywhere, but in the next shot when she's in the hallway, it is only on her shirt and her face is perfectly clean. (00:33:40)

Correction: There are more shots after she gets the blood sprayed on her face. Plenty of time to wipe it off. Yet it is very hard to wipe blood off of clothing. No mistake here.

Pokemon 4Ever picture

Corrected entry: Ash gets thrown off the giant mech and is understandably in pain, but how does he get knocked out by Vicious stepping on his hands? Shouldn't he have just let go of it, and still be consious?

Correction: It is in fact possible to pass out from pain, as anyone who's fallen off a horse, motorcycle, or skateboard can tell you. That's probably what happened to Ash.

Correction: We do not know if they came up with the idea of using a tape recording before they used it.

Monkeybone picture

Corrected entry: Near the end when Monkeybone (while possessing the body of Stu) grabs one of the Monkeybone dolls and jumps from table to table you can see how the tabletop is bouncing like a trampoline (not much, but noticable).

Bjoern_Buller

Correction: There is nothing unusual about the table he jumps on or their movements. They are regular folding round tables. The tablecloths move about as he jumps in a normal fashion.

The Shipping News picture

Corrected entry: Towards the beginning, Kevin Spacey walks in on Petal changing clothes, asking her if her friend had left. Petal is pulling on a tight pair of blue jeans. A second later, she walks out into the hall and she's now wearing a leather miniskirt.

Correction: Petal doesn't leave immediately: she puts the pair of tight jeans on (08:48), then, because she cannot button them up, she pulls the jeans off (09:10), then she puts the leather miniskirt on (09:24) and she leaves after meeting Bunny and opening a can of beer (09:44). More than a minute passes between trying on the jeans and leaving in a miniskirt.

How High picture

Corrected entry: In the scene where Methodman and Redman meet they are sitting in the car and smoking. From outside you can see large amounts of smoke in the car, but in the next shot there is no smoke in the car at all.

Correction: It may appear to be all smoked up from the outside, but inside the car it won't be as smoked up as it appears.

O (2001)

O picture

Corrected entry: When Hugo is driving in the country, he is cruising down the road with the parking brake set.

Correction: It is possible to drive with your parking brake on, in fact many people do it without realizing that they are.

Black Knight picture

Corrected entry: When the movie begins and Jamal is brushing his teeth in his home, he is wearing light-blue pants. When Jamal is in 14th century in England, after the first execution in the movie, Jamal takes his jeans off and he is wearing black pants without changing his clothes at all. (00:00:40 - 00:23:40)

Correction: When he pulls down his jeans, those aren't black pants but his underwear.

Mean Machine picture

Corrected entry: As the prisoners are training for the game against the guards, they show Monk sitting at the goal post. Right after this scene, the characters discuss how they still need a goalkeeper, and they reluctantly suggest Monk to fill the position.

Correction: You have these scenes around the wrong way. They suggest the monk and then he is next to the goal post after they go and talk to him.

Enigma picture

Corrected entry: In both scenes showing an oncoming steam train rounding a curve, the railway track has modern concrete sleepers rather than the wooden ones that were the only type used at the time. The scene at the railway station has the correct wooden sleepers.

Correction: Concrete sleepers were in use in Britain before WWII (they had been in use although not popular across Europe since shortly after the turn of the century). Popularity increased during the war as timber became scarce.

The Musketeer picture

Corrected entry: Musketeers were the elite shock troops of the King's army, armed with costly muskets. Strange that not one of them actually had a musket, let alone fired one. They only had a few pistols.

Correction: The Musketeers were armed with matchlock muskets, which are difficult to use in bad weather. It's pouring rain during the final scene, so it's not unusual that they didn't bother with them (also, a musket requires two hands to use and the musketeers were making a cavalry charge). Febre's men likely had covered areas (such as the cannon below the catwalk) for lighting their powder.

Riding in Cars with Boys picture

Corrected entry: When Beverley is sitting on the toilet and crying and telling Ray about how awful things are going for her she is holding a cigarette. Next shot her hand is out of view then she waves it around and there's no cigarette. Next few shots and she stands up and there's absolutely no sign that a cigarette was even in that room.

Correction: Just having watched this movie, if you go back and listen after she is handed the lighter and the shot pans back to Ray you can distinctly hear her lift the lid, the cigarette being thrown in the toilet (you can hear the sound of it being put out in water) and the lid come down. Then the camera comes back to her she puts her hands up and to her face.

See Spot Run picture

Corrected entry: When Steph is waiting for the babysitter, and Gordon walks into her apartment, we hear her saying on the phone "Yeah, flight's at nine". But when Gordon takes the kid back to his apartment, and they are watching the time tick by, the clocks reads somewhere around seven o'clock.

Correction: Stephanie tells Daisy, "flight's at 9:00...tonight." Later, right after Stephanie leaves in the van going to the airport, we see Gordon, Benny, and James watching TV in Stephanie's apartment. When Daisy calls about the food poisoning the clock on Stephanie's wall shows that it's almost 7:00 PM, while we know Stephanie is headed to the airport to make her 9:00 PM flight. There's no inconsistency.
