Plot hole: In the scene where Lorenzo gives the evidence to the policeman (in the back of King Benny's policeman-nephew's car), he gives him a gun with shell casings and Adam Styler's prints on the gun. Where exactly did he procure these items?
Plot hole: It is highly unlikely that something as unusual and noticeable as a long severed ponytail would have been overlooked at the crime scene where Bob was shot when it was originally combed for evidence. Especially after Vanessa told the police he'd done it; they would have looked for it as evidence.
Plot hole: The entire movie is a major plot hole. It's revealed early that Naji Hassan himself organized Jaffa's capture and so it follows that Hassan has no interest in the latter's release. With the nerve gas already smuggled on board the plane and the willingly suicidal Demou in place, the hijack was totally unnecessary. Demou could have set off the bomb as the plane came into land. Rather than draw attention by the hijack, Hassan could've stayed behind and made propaganda from a safe place minutes before.
Plot hole: When Tom Berenger is talking about Vietnam, the school bell rings and everyone leaves class. After everyone leaves, Tom Berenger puts the ice pick in his overcoat and quickly picks up his briefcase and opens it. Around 10 to 20 seconds after the bell rang, he looks at the portable surveillance in the briefcase. He flips through all the cameras. How did the entire school clear out with no one in site from the time the bell rang? Are there not usually some people around in the hallways after school?
Plot hole: In the scene where Roy takes his ball out of the hole, at the last round of the US Open, the crowd are going wild etc. Dave, who has a chance to win the competition, doesn't finish off his round.
Plot hole: When Clooney gets the call from Melanie's mother, he calls Melanie to let her know that her mother can not watch her son. She asks how he got her phone number, implying that she did not know that the phones were switched. Right afterwards she tells him he has a meeting at five. How did she know that he had a meeting if she just found out that they switched phones?
Plot hole: Given the magnitude of the crimes that occur at the house at the end, the police can be seen in the last shot dusting Dewey's truck. If the police are so careful as to dust for prints when the entire rest of the crime scene is heavily contaminated by everyone from the EMTs, Gale doing her news, police, etc. makes what they are doing seem silly. Plot hole: Why is that shark machine even there? The only reason it's there is to help the plot, and I don't see how it is of use to anyone in the corporate world. If the shark just ejects the fish it turns into fish heads out to sea, there is too much chance they will be ruined by carnivorous fish or weather before they are picked up. And fishing companies should know better.
Plot hole: When they rescue the boy he is with Gary Sinese. Surely the boy could hear his voice and tip off authorities he was one of the bad guys? Yet later in the movie when Sinese comes by the home for his reward, he hears Sinese's voice and recognizes it.
Plot hole: Spyro says to Rafael the gun dealer that they need the "hardware" (guns) cause they're going to be hit, but in the scene before we see the Diablos already hitting them after the Mayor finishes talking to the police over the phone.
Plot hole: When Picard, Hawk and Worf are out on the particle transmitter, they each have one gun. However, when Picard is attacked by Hawk, the gun that Hawk used is being stepped on by him. Picard left his gun over at the other mag lock, and Worf threw his away, but when the captain was in trouble, Worf had a gun. He would not have had time to run around to Picard's side before he was attacked by Hawk, so where did Worf get the other gun from?
Suggested correction: As you can see in a wide shot after Worf's suit is cut, his gun is still hanging close by. So after he closed the gap in his suit he just grabbed his own gun. Of course, he did throw it away and it should have kept on moving all the way out of reach but something stopped it. But you do see it still in reach of Worf.
Plot hole: Malloy and the others tell Snake that the Plutoxin 7 virus would cause nervous system shutdown without the antivirus. When he got back, it was revealed that it was just a hard hitting case of the flu. Why then did, at the base, the computer showing his countdown timer over the course of the film say when nervous system shutdown, not the full extent of the flu, would occur. Maybe for sake of the audience to avoid a spoiler, but those who had already seen the movie would notice this.
Suggested correction: Because the countdown timer was lying to him as well. It was programmed to do so.
Plot hole: When Earl, Grady, Burt and Kate are running from the truck that Burt shot, they go towards the cantina, which has a couple of smaller blue and white structures beside it. In a wide shot as they're running, we see the 1st shed at the side of the frame. A moment later Earl sees several walking Graboids in front of the 2nd shed. The beasts were in plain sight, yet nobody noticed until they were almost on top of them. (01:14:50)
Plot hole: There is no reason that Eden Hall couldn't have accepted the Ducks and also kept some of the JV players as well other than they didn't want to hire more actors for the team. Keep in mind, by the time the Ducks actually attend E.H. they only have 12 players (with two goalies). Once Banks gets transferred to Varsity they only have 9 skaters. Surely they could have allowed the cut JV players to rejoin the team since they barely had enough skaters for 2 full lines.
