Revealing mistake: Willem Defoe plays Jesus in this film. He wears a robe that has been double seamed, and in several scenes when he turns around you can see the stitching where a label is sewn in.

Revealing mistake: When the blade swings down into the side of Mako's face, the blood flows down from the top of the blade, and not from her face.

Revealing mistake: The "Great Train Robbery" actually took place on a two-track railway near Cheddington - the West Coast Main Line. However, the filming took place on the Great Central Railway steam line near Loughborough, which only had one track at that time. They laid a second track for the filming, but omitted to cut down a large tree at the end of the rails, which would block the path of a train. This is blindingly obvious, especially as they show this "atmosphere shot" twice. The tree is still there the second time.

Revealing mistake: On their first stop after leaving Walbrook Charlie and Susanna make love. Raymond comes into their room, Charlie gets mad at him, and when he gets out of bed you get a glimpse of the sheet that prevented skin contact between the two 'lovers'. (00:32:35)

There is a shouting match between Niko and another officer. The Officer yells "take it easy, Steve " or "take it easy, Steven". His line should have been "take it easy, Niko"

Revealing mistake: When they are observing the waxwork figures, it's obvious they are real people just trying to stand still, as you can easily notice the "wax" figures slightly rocking or moving, or the props they are holding doing the same.

Revealing mistake: When being chased by her uncle Elvira's hair moves in a way which indicates it's a wig.

Revealing mistake: After Joey and Ed leave the mausoleum, they discover the graveyard full of zombies. As one zombie staggers forward, near the front of the screen, he bumps a tomb and it wobbles. (00:27:25)

Revealing mistake: In the scene when the aliens first enter Valerie's house, Mac and Zeebo find the fish tank and eat one fish each. The shot turns to Valerie's stunned reaction then back to the aliens, who are smiling widely, pleased with their stunt. If you look at Mac's teeth, you can see they are bright white up to his first molar, which is a give-away at his fake white fronts.

Revealing mistake: During the fight montage, the winner of the first match wins by kicking his opponent in the face. His foot never makes contact.

Revealing mistake: When Dolph goes into the bar near the beginning, he headbutts a bald guy. You can see that he doesn't even come close to making contact. Still, the guy has a broken nose.

Revealing mistake: In the bathroom scene when Debbie is attacked by the clowns from the medicine cabinet, you can see the holes where the puppets are being controlled from.

Revealing mistake: Clearly not Susan Blakely when she goes topless. Her hair suddenly becomes curlier, that's a body double.

Revealing mistake: When Jemma enters the headshrinker's laboratory, there is a table with three heads on it each encased in glass. When it goes in close-up on the middle head, you can see that the table has a hole where the actor can slip in his head.

Revealing mistake: When Bernard throws his gun to the ground, the ground "wiggles". (01:09:15)
