Trivia: They pay homage to the original 1932 movie Freaks. In Freaks, Cleopatra gets mutilated and turned into a tarred and feathered bird for visitors to gawk at in terror. Hercules gets viciously attacked under the carnival vehicle. In this episode, Stanley gets cornered by all the freaks under the carnival vehicle and gets viciously attacked and mutilated to resemble Meep (a feathered freak who was killed by the cops in an earlier episode).
Trivia: Poirot in the ship's lounge is reading the actual May 1st 1935 issue of Bystander (recognizable by the cover and with the correct page order, does not seem to be a simple movie prop), roughly consistent with the time frame of the first season and a contest taking place on the 14th. Trivia: When Taissa leaves work and sees an angry man in his car repeatedly trying to jam his straw into his drink, the logo on the cup is the Busy Bee Cafe logo. The Busy Bee cafe was seen in the original Twilight Zone episode Nick of Time with William Shatner.
Trivia: Only mentioned in one episode early in the series, Steve Austin's least-referenced superhuman power was his ability to hold his breath for extraordinary lengths of time. Steve's phenomenal breath-holding ability was due to the fact that, even though he had two normal lungs, he had a much smaller circulatory system than a normal human being. Also, the Steve Austin in Martin Caidin's original book, "Cyborg," had an entire array of weapons, flares, communications gear, retractable swim fins, and scuba tanks built into his bionic body.
Trivia: Originally, the new "Ghost Face" mask was meant to be made out of human flesh that was being stretched over the killer's face, hence it distorts and resembles a "screaming face" like the original Ghost Face mask. This idea was dropped relatively early in filming. However, several scenes had already been filmed with the killer for the pilot, so in some shots, the mask is actually a CG model that's been added in over the original. (Though thankfully it's hard to tell which scenes have the digital mask).

Trivia: When Kevin opens the fridge to get a bottle of beer, there's a milk carton in the back of the fridge. This carton has Laddie's picture on it from The Lost Boys, same as it was in that film.

Trivia: Daphne talks about Alfred who was like an uncle to her. In DC comics, Batman's butler Alfred had a niece by the name of Daphne Pennyworth.

Trivia: Bert Cohen was paged on the intercom in the Desert Inn more than any other name heard in the whole series. In second place was Monty Levine and third was Thomas Shefsky.

Trivia: The Matron is called Fletcher. Louise Fletcher played the chief nurse (and a similar character) in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest."
Trivia: Instead of the Royal Air Force, the series has a fictitious British Air Force with largely invented insignia. Ranks are taken from the RAF, but sometimes different rank insignia is worn (e.g. an air vice-marshal wearing air marshal's insignia and a flight lieutenant wearing flying officer's insignia, although another flight lieutenant wears correct insignia).
Trivia: Its teaser trailers are, for the most part, out-take footage that doesn't actually appear in the episodes. For example, in the scene in which ShadowMoon and Mr. Wednesday first meet aboard the airliner, the teaser trailer uses completely different camera shots and different performances from the actors. In the actual episode, the camera shots and performances for the same scene are noticeably different.
