The Tale of the Whispering Walls - S2-E7
Factual error: Betty Ann is supposed to be telling this story on a Leap Year night with a full moon. While it's necessary for the plot, the most recent Leap Year with a full moon was in 1972, and is calculated to happen in 2048 next.
Factual error: Will's hospital chart states he is taking Warfarin and Coumadin. These are both the same drug to prevent blood clots. He would not be on both. (00:31:50)
Factual error: There is no way cops would just walk up and open fire on a suspect unannounced, not knowing if he is armed or not, and with an innocent bystander so close.
Factual error: 1968: The basement's brick wall crumbles to reveal Trask's skeleton hanging in the alcove. Only it shouldn't be. Bodies do not remain assembled once the flesh and sinew are gone. Trask's remains ought to be a large pile of bones on the floor.
Factual error: When Jim is watching the guy about to be blown up, the reflection in the binocular lens is the same as we just saw, when it should be a reversed image.
Factual error: The show is supposed to be set in Pennsylvania. But when Roman is getting treatment in a doctor's office, and his phone vibrates on a table next to him, a close up shot of his phone is shown and the cell service is ROGERS. This cell service is only in Canada. (00:22:00)
Horror in the Heights - S1-E11
Factual error: Outside the Indian restaurant, the street curb is painted red. In Chicago, throughout the 1970s, curbs were painted white or yellow to indicate special parking zones; never red.
Song of the Younger World - S2-E20
Factual error: The 19th Century reformatory has modern electric light bulbs hanging from the corridor ceilings. (00:21:10)
Sucker Bait - S1-E7
Factual error: It is quite true that atoms that do not occur naturally are bad for humans. However, in a space age as this story's, that would apply to most or even all planets. It would be a well known risk that didn't require an abnormal specialist to diagnose. (This fact rarely figures in other SF, because it would severely limit most stories).
Factual error: The FBI agent introduces himself and says "Mike Weston - I did my thesis on Joe Carol at the academy." FBI agents are required to have a university degree, but they don't write thesis' at the academy. A person is either in a university or at Quantico getting trained. They are not writing papers at Quantico. They need the degree beforehand to get in. (00:10:30 - 00:11:30)
Factual error: Constantine's driving licence is shown - it's a UK licence, but no. 7 where his signature should be is blank, and no. 8 where his full address should be simply says "England, United Kingdom." Both are printed onto the licence when it's issued - without that info it would never be issued in the first place. And it's not a fake, because why would he have a fake licence with his real information on it? It's just an incomplete prop.
Factual error: A man enters a bank and begins firing his Glock 9mm pistol. A few of the men he shoots, jump up in the air after the rounds impact their bodies. Bullets hitting a body will never make it jump, or fly in the air. (00:00:01 - 00:01:46)
Pride Parade - S5-E3
Factual error: Nandor manages to fly up to space, then loses control and falls back to earth in a fireball as he reenters the atmosphere. But objects reentering the atmosphere only get hot because they're generally travelling at immense speeds, 7-12 kilometers per second. Nandor just floated straight up, then falls straight back down. When Felix Baumgartner parachuted from the edge of space his maximum speed was about 1,300 km/h, and he didn't catch fire.
Factual error: Broken Bow is in the southeastern corner of Oklahoma. US 60 is shown here, but actually cuts across the northern part of the state. (00:09:30)
Factual error: The episode has Mona Lisa and Teddy traveling to Yakima, Washington, showing green, tree covered hills. Yakima is in the middle of the Washington State desert, so the topography would be mostly flat, desert terrain, with yellow and brown colors.
Suggested correction: Don't think you have ever been to Yakima because Yakima is surrounded by hills and the only part that is flat is in the valley and Terrace Heights. I live in Yakima, and the map they showed of E Yakima Ave and Chestnut Ave and filming is wrong, though, because that area of the map is mostly neighborhoods, small businesses, and mini-marts. No trailer parks with a bridge nearby that has hills behind it in that area.
Factual error: When they go to 1954, the hamburger drive in says it has frappes. Not invented till '57, and not in the US public eye until at least 45 years later.
Suggested correction: What you're describing is a Greek café frappé made with instant coffee. In New England "Frappe" is what many would consider a milkshake with ice cream in it, and has been around since at least the 50's (Vic's dad even mentions getting frappes in episode 4).
Factual error: The fly Good Chucky kills bleeds red blood. Fly blood is usually clearish with a yellow and green tint. Not opaque red.
Factual error: At the end when Skeksis enters the crystal chamber, in the overhead shot you can see 22 arcane symbols around the crystal when there should only be 18, one for each exiled skeksis. (00:45:53)
Factual error: Despite taking place in Massachusetts and many of the cars having Massachusetts license plates, none of the vehicles has the required annual inspection sticker on the lower part of the passenger side of the windshield.
Welcome to Hotel del Luna - S1-E1
Factual error: The dead policewoman removes the bullet that she was shot in the head with. The bullet appears to be completely intact and undamaged as if never fired. Real bullets that have been fired into something or someone do not appear like this. (00:36:30)
