The Clock King Gets Crowned (2) - S2-E12

Factual error: Trapped in the overturned hourglass, Batman and Robin lie flat and begin furiously digging in the sand, making the hourglass roll out the door. But to cause such rapid movement, they'd need to be applying their weight against one of the glass sides (like a hamster in a ball). Just digging in the sand wouldn't get them anywhere, at least not that quickly. (00:04:15)

Katie And Emily - S3-E9

Factual error: When Emily holds up her phone to see Naomi is calling her, the date on the screen is Friday 10th of July- this takes place several days before the Love Ball. However on the posters for the Love Ball the date for it is Tuesday 30th of June.

My Best Shot - S5-E11

Factual error: Hilda says "if they had listened to me instead of that dufus Caesar..." but that would make her over 2,000 years old when she is younger than 700.

Suggested correction: They have a clock that can bring back figures from the past. And did I mention that she can bring back whoever she wants because she's a WITCH?

Safety First - S2-E6

Factual error: When Helen tells Laura she's trying to quit all the pills that she takes to deal with Gordon, she starts listing them off. "The Valium, the Diazepam, the Librium..." Valium and Diazepam are the same thing. (Valium's the brand, Diazepam's the generic). (00:08:20)

Suggested correction: And Helen might not know that and think they are different pills.

Ssiscool

Anyone on those pills knows exactly what they are.

The_Iceman

Usually true in real life but this show exaggerates things for comedy. The writers probably genuinely made the mistake but it is still plausible that Helen is that messed up.

If you're on these meds, you know this stuff. Like how people on Percocet know that its generic is Oxycodone.

Leap Year - S3-E18

Factual error: Sue's birthday isn't actually on Leap Day as this birthday is her 15th (in season 4 she celebrates her Sweet 16) and Leap Day birthdays are multiples of 4. The closest leap day birthday in this sense would be her 16th.

Doug Less (2) - S6-E2

Factual error: It is very obvious throughout the whole episode that the mountain scenery is that of California wilderness...the trees, plants and mountains look nothing like those in New York or the East Coast.

Songs of Praise - S1-E2

Factual error: In the scene where they are gathered to watch the episode of Songs of Praise in the shot of Alice's reading. Her quote 'from the sixth chapter of the Song of Solomon, beginning at the second verse' "ye are the fault [salt] of the earth and fainted [sainted]." doesn't exist.

The Distance - S2-E1

Factual error: Julie picks up Marissa's iPod and presses the menu button, and Marissa acts as though the song has stopped, when pressing the menu button wouldn't do anything to the song - all that would do is have the playlist come up on the screen.

Show generally

Factual error: Throughout this series we are treated to a set of the House of Commons. Whilst it's almost accurate in nearly every detail, it misses out one crucial aspect. The set only has 4 rows of seating, the real House of Commons has 5.

Isn't It Romantic - S2-E5

Factual error: At the beginning of the episode, Dorothy tries to turn off the dirty video that Sophia rented. She presses the fast-forward button on the VCR remote by mistake, and the music on the television continues at a faster pace. However, most if not all VHS players (in the 1980s and today) do not play audio whilst fast-forwarding or rewinding.

Tanks For The Memories - S5-E15

Factual error: Tim accidentally fires an M2 .50 machine gun while on a tank. Ricochets are shown sparking all over other tanks while people dive for cover. A) Bullets don't spark when they ricochet, and B) the M2 had a blank firing adapter installed; it couldn't have been firing bullets.

Ends - S1-E7

Factual error: When Mike is describing his attempted invasion of Paris to the TA officers, he mentions going on Space Mountain at Disneyland Paris. However, Mike says that it happened in 1994, which must be correct, as the officers in an important interview like this would pick him up on the inaccuracy. Space Mountain did not open until 1995.

Looking For Love in All The Wrong Cages - S2-E9

Factual error: The zoologist tells Gavin that he is handling a deadly coral snake. The snake is red, with black and yellow stripes, which is indeed the coloring of the coral snake. However, the yellow bands are inside pairs of black, and only the black touches the red. "Red touch black, good for Jack. Red touch yellow, kills a fellow." This is a harmless milk snake.

To Stop a Steele - S1-E15

Factual error: Jeweler Albert Harrad calls Laura from his desk phone, but only punches six buttons before getting hold of her office. All U.S. phone numbers have seven digits: six wouldn't have connected him to anything. (00:37:30)

A Tale of Two Cows - S2-E10

Factual error: When Princess Clara gives Wooldoor the shotgun, telling him that he has to shoot Live Action Cow, she racks the action, thus chambering a shell. Just before he 'shoots' the cow, Wooldoor racks the action again. This would eject the shell, but no such thing happens.

Show generally

Factual error: In one show, Sean and Claudia are in Las Vegas. Sean is doing well at the craps table and starts showing off. One time he even throws the dice around his back onto the table. However, when players are playing craps, they have to keep the dice above the table at all times. People working at a craps table would not have allowed Sean to do what he did.
