Other mistake: In the beginning of the film above the box office the date says April 12. When Sidney looks at her watch the next morning it's not even close to that date. (00:00:35 - 00:12:55)
Suggested correction: The mistake is correct, but the watch part has nothing to do with the incorrect date. It is the next day.
Other mistake: When the Angels are in the bar in Mongolia, and Alex is trying to get out of the trapdoor with Ray Carter, a guy falls over the trapdoor entrance. When Dylan tries to move him, and sits down on top of him, the trapdoor falls in. Wouldn't that crush Alex and Ray Carter? (00:04:55)
Other mistake: In the scene after Arnold kills the construction hoods he goes home to Sharon Stone and tries to convince her that it was real by showing her his bloody hands with which he was grabbing her shoulders, yet there is no blood on her or the appliances he turned off upon entering the apartment.
Other mistake: When Kimble takes the elevator to the conference to confront Dr. Nichols, he presses a button, but the one beside it is the one that actually lights up. In this particular elevator, the button he pressed is the one that should have lit up.
Other mistake: After Sonny is shot on the causeway, there are a very large number of bullet exit holes visible on the sides of the tollbooths, which could only have been made if the gunmen shot through the walls (not the windows) of the buildings from the inside. This is common in movies. In real life, bullet entry holes in wood appear as small black dots, not the more dramatic-looking splintered gashes made on the other side of the wood as the bullet exits. (01:52:40)
Other mistake: Towards the end of the movie, Clayton has two wounds visible on his face. These wounds keep changing length and shape throughout the scene.
Other mistake: In the scene where Ripley throws the basketball at Johner, Christie says to Ripley, "Ok, I've got a new game, tag .." He hits her with the handles straight in the face once, he misses the next shot, misses again, and Ripley hits him to the ground, but you neither see or hear the handles fall. (00:23:15)
Other mistake: When De Niro and Bridget Fonda are talking and trading hits off of bong, alone in the apartment, while they're talking there comes a pause where they both look at each other with their mouths closed, and you can here someone coughing in the background.
Other mistake: When Cindy asks 'What did you do with Sully?', surely she must have known he'd been dropped off the cliff as she was standing about five metres away? (00:40:00)
Other mistake: During the scenes in Beirut, we see a picture of a militiaman firing an RPG at an armored vehicle. If you look at the launcher, you can see that there is no grenade in the launcher when it is "fired."
Other mistake: The alien that comes out of the dog is a lot bigger than the actual dog just seconds after it appears. This only applies to the theatrical version, as in the extended version the alien comes out of an ox.
Other mistake: While fighting Mr. Freeze (and Bane) at the Gotham Observatory, Batman, Robin & Batgirl all have batsuits on, with silver bat (or robin) symbols on their chest. But while they are giving Alfred the cure to Stage 1 of McGregor's Syndrome, for some reason they have changed clothes before giving him the cure. Because now (other than the fact that they have all taken off their masks) Robin has on his original robin suit (with the red robin symbol across his chest) and Batgirl has on a gray t-shirt. (01:55:25 - 01:56:15)
Other mistake: During the beginning of the freeway chase scene, a "Maximum Speed 65" sign can be seen along the freeway wall in the slow lane that is facing the opposite direction of traffic. Freeway traffic in that lane would only be able to see it in their rear-view mirrors. (01:25:20)
Other mistake: After the one bad guy crashes into the giant vat of toxic waste, hardly any of the liquid from the container spills out for the first two shots. Then a few cuts later, almost all of it pours from the back of the truck. Judging by the size of the hole it left, more liquid should have been coming out around the truck, not just through it. (01:29:00)
Other mistake: When Memphis and Kip are hiding from Johnny B and his crew in the cafe following the ambush, Memphis devises a plan to make good an escape. He sends Kip out to use the tow cable on the heavy tow rig to destroy Johnny B's Mercedes. First angle shows a cable wrapped around a rear A-arm of the vehicle and the hook connected to the cable, the next shows a hook directly attached to the front axle, which is the one that gets torn from the Mercedes when the tow rig pulls away. Additionally, a different cabling rig and loose cabling used in the stunt are strewn behind the car. So even if Kip somehow made 2 connections without being seen or heard, the rear rig is different than the one shown in the first shot. (00:51:00 - 00:53:00)
Other mistake: Capt Cahill was declared dead after the helicopter he was in crashed and then taken captive. I spent almost 24 years in the military and know that if a body is not found, even though presumed dead, the official status is Missing in Action (MIA). The notification to Capt Cahill's family should have been MIA not dead.
Other mistake: When we see the numbers for the coded entry to Alice's weapon, the order of the numbers is 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 0 - 9. The 9 and 0 are the wrong way round. (00:47:40)
Other mistake: At the end of the movie where they are looking at the headstone of Jake Hobart, the date on the bottom of the stone is April 3 1913, despite dying shortly before the Titanic sank in 1912.
Other mistake: When Jennifer meets David in Oregon she says she drove 3 hours to get there. In the next scene they are getting off a bus to catch the ferry. What happened to her car?
Suggested correction: There are possibilities off-screen as to why. It's possible that the bus used its own private road to get to the ferry which may be closed to the public, or the parking lot may have been too expensive and they parked on a street instead and caught a bus. It's not really known, but those are some possibilities.
Other mistake: The driver tells his partner that his firearm is empty, and he has no bullets in it. In the beginning he was given a loaner firearm until he could purchase his own. He's been with the company for a while now so that makes no sense. Also, for a trained professional who killed six robbers with precise accuracy it's hard to fathom he would not notice his gun weighing less. A loaded Glock 17 weighs 8.5 ounces heavier than an empty one. Plus the guards carry spare magazines, where are his? (01:20:00 - 01:22:30)
