Revealing mistake: When the Blob is eating Paul at the doctors office, his right arm is the only part not covered. It's very obvious that it's in a fixed plastic sleeve surrounded by the Blob's ooze.
Deliberate mistake: The famous car chase ends with Bond's car tipping up on its right wheels to fit through a pedestrian path. However, when it emerges the other side, it's tipped on its left wheels. When the car enters the alley, this was filmed in a studio. When the car exits the alley, this was filmed in Vegas. The first few times the exit was filmed, the car emerged on the correct wheels, but the shots were unusable because of the crowds in the background watching the filming. This shot was temporarily abandoned and eventually re-filmed with a different stunt driver who famously performed the stunt on the wrong wheels. Realising this, the producers filmed a somewhat clunky insert shot featuring a close-up of Sean Connery and Jill St John, which shows the car tip back onto four wheels and then up onto the opposite two wheels, even though the alleyway would be too narrow to manage this.
Revealing mistake: The Gremlin who throws the beaker full of acid has his arm operated by a stick, which is visible as he chucks the beaker. (01:08:05)
Other mistake: Wolverine shields Yashida from the blast, burning off all his hair. Somehow his pants manage to remain unaffected by this, as seen later when they are climbing from the pit.
Revealing mistake: When Charlie shoots the critter which flies into the air and explodes, we can see the wire the critter is attached to. (01:07:45)
Continuity mistake: When Trevor gets home from work and sits down in his lounge, between shots the sheets hanging over the chair he is sitting on change and items (such as a stack of books, newspaper, etc) suddenly appear on the radiator behind him. (00:03:15)
Plot hole: The assassin cuts a hole in the glass to kill the Federation president. But with the size of the hole and the placement of the scope on the phaser rifle, the assassin would not have been able to see out of the hole.
Revealing mistake: Near the beginning of the film when Deckard and the other cop take off in the car to go to the police station, you can see the cables lifting the car up into the air. (00:10:05)
Factual error: Casey arrives at the desert landing in a jeep that is flagged with 4 stars (for a 4 star general) although he is only a 3 star general (as evident by the 3 stars on his shoulder boards). (00:33:30 - 00:35:25)
Visible crew/equipment: When Chun-Li and her family arrive at their new home at Hong Kong, as the old servant opens the door, the reflection of the boom mic is visible on the black door. (00:01:55)
Visible crew/equipment: When Gort picks up Patricia Neal next to the flying saucer, you can see cables leading down to her body to keep her hoisted. (01:20:15)
Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie, when Neville is behind the glass and he is thinking and all the sound goes away, you can see the bite mark that the zombie gave him. While the shot is changing between him and the zombie, you can see the bite mark change sides of his shirt.
Visible crew/equipment: Throughout the movie, in the shots of the guys on the alien planet, the white reflector screens and film crew's reflections are visible in their sunglasses. (00:40:20)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Drax's assistant, Corine Dufor, is being pursued to her death by his doberman dogs, she starts off with bare legs and high heels, but a couple of seconds later she's now wearing trainers and blue socks.
Continuity mistake: When Jim is wandering the deserted streets after waking up from his coma, there is one overhead shot of Jim walking down the street, towards a silver car. When it then cuts to a closer shot a red double decker bus appears underneath the "Landmark Advertising" billboard. A small white van/truck has appeared in front of a medium-sized white lorry, and the position of the silver car parked in the centre of the traffic lights grid changes between subsequent shots. Also between these and following shots, the position of the trash littering the streets differs. (00:11:05)
Continuity mistake: When the crew is outside and they're going to lock Blair in the tool shed, you can see someone nailing wood across the window on the front of the shed. The pieces of wood are horizontal. In the next shot (inside the shed), if you look at the window in the background, the strips of wood are vertical. When Mac goes back outside, the wood is horizontal again.
Factual error: In the scene where Picard opens a viewing port and shows Lilly that she is in a starship orbiting Earth he shows her New Guinea and Australia. New Zealand is missing. (00:42:45)
Suggested correction: Actually when you look at Australia and New Zealand from orbit, New Zealand is a lot further away from Australia then shown on a map, also a lot more south of Australia. A map is a 2D image of a sphere, causing proportions to be off (its well known Africa is a lot smaller on maps than it is in real life). Especially the further south or north you go distances are way off. The depiction shown in the movie is actually correct, in that angle New Zealand is just outside of the frame. There are plenty of pictures from orbit to compare.
Visible crew/equipment: Look over Val's right shoulder as Rhonda is supposedly driving upside down with her legs sticking out the back window of the truck cab and you can see a man driving for her. (00:42:40)
Continuity mistake: When the man is pinned to the wall by the Predator's spear there is a close-up shot of his feet showing a box beside his right foot. When it cuts to a shot from the side of the man the box is gone. (00:31:35)
Continuity mistake: When Dr. Elliot is doing his presentation, there is a large TV on a stand, with a VCR, which suddenly vanishes halfway through. (00:11:10)
