Continuity mistake: Maggie was holding two bottles (clear containing a green liquid) in her right hand and set them on the table together with one at an angle behind the other. She moved her hand away and when the camera shifted to a wide view, the bottles were side-by-side (horizontal to the screen) with more space between them. Also, both bottles were almost full, but had less in them when Maggie handed one to Grace at the airport. (Maggie may have had a sip out of hers, but not Grace's; both looked unopened). Continuity mistake: When Dre is talking to his brother outside the house before he leaves, the house in the background is showing partial sun (around sunset). Then, it becomes fully in the sun in the last shot as he's now leaving. The frame instantly changes to a wider view of the street, and now the house is fully shady with the sun already down.
Continuity mistake: When Marcus is being chastised for the clothing he is wearing in the dance room, you can see a reflected shot of him looking down toward his feet. In the next shot, he looks down again.
Continuity mistake: In "Rhapsody in Blue" When we first see the drumming construction worker in his room, his alarm clock is standing up straight, but when the closeup happens, the clock is face flat on the table. (00:17:45)
Continuity mistake: Everyone wears the same outfit during their hunt for Big Bird. Maria's changes to a dress once they arrive in Toadstool.
Continuity mistake: During the September 4, 1977 show at the Masque, Darby cuts a line on his chest with broken glass. The shape and position of the cut changes between shots during and after the show.
Continuity mistake: Bongo the bear, riding in a car of the circus train, looks out the window. There are four vertical bars on the window - but when seen from outside the train, it has six bars.
Continuity mistake: As Dewey's parents are dancing to Dewey's song on the radio, take notice that Dewey's mother gets her foot wrapped up in the electrical cord of the radio and falls out the upstairs window. Upon her hitting the ground, you should be able to see that there is no cord wrapped around either foot, or a cord that leads back up to the window. However, the radio's electrical cord comes out of the wall socket anyway as if it was still attached to her foot, causing the radio to go on the same journey as she did. (00:30:00 - 00:30:35)
Continuity mistake: Near the beginning of the film, Llewyn goes into a subway station. The train that comes in is a different car model than the one he is sitting in in the next shot. Also, the exterior shot is of a train that did not yet exist in 1961. That model was introduced around 5-6 years later.
Continuity mistake: When Lisa uses a vibrator, you can see in the background of Matt's bedroom a chair with some books on it. However, just about a little over a minute into the scene, when the camera switches between Matt and Lisa, right before she climaxes, the books are gone from the chair. (00:42:45 - 00:43:50)
Continuity mistake: During the Benny Goodman "All The Cats Join In" segment, a teenaged girl gets out of the shower and hops into her underpants and skirt. Suddenly her feet are clad in white socks which were not there before.
Continuity mistake: The protagonist just arrived to his college. Long shot as he gets off the taxi, and to the right of the frame you see a group of 3 girls crossing the street and walking on the lawn. Cut, and the 3 girls have yet to cross. (00:07:00)
Continuity mistake: After Liz and Bev tell Bill that they can't cancel the show, they are helping him put his suit jacket on. Dimitri behind him is using a sticky roller thing to get hairs off the jacket and is down on his back. After Bev mentions the weather issues the camera angle changes and suddenly Dimitri has the roller up on his shoulder.
Continuity mistake: When we see the animals change seats at the start of the cartoon, you can see there is an aisle in the middle of the theatre, but when the show begins in the next shot, the aisle has disappeared.
Continuity mistake: Doris picks up the phone and there's a cutaway shot on Johnny playing his guitar as he listens. The stockings Doris tossed at him are gone from the guitar head, but they are back when the phone call is over. (00:05:10)
Continuity mistake: The Phantom's right eye only becomes disfigured once he's unmasked - it's normal the rest of the time.
Continuity mistake: The evil stepsisters shove Kat at the feet of Dominic with latte splattered all over her face. But the mess looks different in the various shots. For instance, in the close-up when he asks her if she's okay and if she hurt herself there's a big splotch by the corner of her mouth, which was not there earlier (she was dirty under the nose at most) and is gone in the next shot. Continuity mistake: Right after the last song John Paul Jones is seen taking his guitar off and resting it on an amp.The scene switches to Robert and when he points to his right JPJ is repeating the action.
Continuity mistake: Look at the scene where Chanel and her mom are putting on face cream. In the wide shot, Chanel only has cream on her chin, cheeks and forehead. Her mom hasn't applied the cream. In the close-up (when her mom says that they might be moving to Paris), there's cream all over their faces.
Continuity mistake: In the flashback scene when Eddie is at the beach it shows him talking to Sal. In the first movie he was talking to Frank.
